05-06 -Update: You did it! Thanks to the HeroClix community, this project is now fully funded! Not only did you fund this fantastic project, you also took them over their first stretch goal! There's about a week left, so don't miss out on these awesome trays!

4-21-Update: Looks like they're almost there. As of 1pm EST today, they're less than $200 from their goal! Be a part of this fantastic project and show your support now!

We're always suckers for HeroClix related stuff, and today we just found out about an awesome new Kickstarter Project called HeroTrays!  A picture is really worth a thousand words, so here you go:

HeroClix HeroTray

Awesome, huh? There's actually three versions of these babies, and the Standard versions "have 9 slots for figures, each slot can hold any single slot kind (Oreo, Cup, or H Base). Also has separate slots for 2 standard dice, cards, and tokens/items." The image you see above is actually the "Resource Tray" which comes with Peanut slot and big slot.

Neat huh? We can't wait to get our hands on these.

What are you waiting for? Check out their Kickstart Project now...!

Disclaimer: We're not affiliated with this kickstarter; we aren't getting paid for this; we're not even getting getting a sample product. We simply think this a really cool thing and this is our way of showing our support.

Well i take back the last comment i made on not liking the trays. I checked the kickstarter and i like the trays in black. I guess color makes a difference.

"I just wish Hair10's rings fit in the holders"

Yeah, I've been thinking about that actually. When I get a HeroTray in hand I might see if I can "modify" it for my own personal use. Mabye a "peg" that takes up one of the holes that ID Bases can be stacked on or something. :)

Thanks for the support! I'm just amazed at how close it is in just a few days. The product works and people love them.

Sure there are cheaper alternatives but for those that want to customize their game and look stylish doing it, that is who the trays are for.

I got some of these from John at worlds last year. They are awesome. I have the peanut version and the standard version. I cannot wait to get the resource version, since I am now a sponsor.

I like using them in tourneys, My tokens and dice stay where I put them and the figures do not get knocked off the table.

I just wish Hair10's rings fit in the holders, oh well you can't have everything.

I think this looks excellent. I have a Heroclix/MageKnight foam case and a plastic Mageknight holder case I bought 10 years ago. Hero Tray will fit quite nicely in my collection.

I also thought, as soon as I saw the picture, that this would really be useful during a tournament. I use a big toolbox to keep my figures (I know, not the tidiest) with the top slots (normally reserved to nails, screws and bolts) for my expensive/recurrent/favorite pieces.

@superfirend: Yes, you are correct -- you would spill if you dropped the tray. But that's true with ANY tray that doesn't have a lid.

Regardless, I love this HeroTray, especially for kids (or tournaments where you're sporting just one team).

neat idea, but trays are prone to being spilled. I just use 2 tupperware type containers. One with dividers for supplies and one without for pieces. The Infinity Gauntlet and Utility Belt each have their own separate container.
