JUNE 3, 2015 (Columbus, OH) – At Origins Game Fair today, WizKids announced a partnership with Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, to produce multiple tabletop games based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The first two games developed under this partnership will be a special series of TMNT HeroClix™ figures, and a TMNT Dice Masters™ game, both set for release later this year.

“We are very excited to partner with Nickelodeon on expanding the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesbrand,” said Justin Ziran, President of WizKids. “We expect fans of both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and WizKids will be very pleased with the lineup of games we have in store, and we can’t wait to get them in players’ hands in the coming months.”

WizKids has seen great successes in its HeroClix collectible figure-battling and Dice Masters Dice Building™ products, and is very excited to bring fan-favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters, spanning all iterations of the comics from classic to present day as well as the classic cartoon and current hit CG-animated series on Nickelodeon, to both games.

“The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are classic and beloved characters, and we can’t wait to see them integrated into WizKids’ tabletop games,” said Manuel Torres, Senior Vice President, Global Toys and Publishing, Nickelodeon. “We are as excited as our fans are to see Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, Shredder and more come to life in HeroClix and Dice Masters.”

Heh, heh Krang! Childhood memories! Combining the size change ability with steal energy should be effective.

@Annoyinglizardvoice - I'd also like to see MotU and Mortal Kombat (both associated with DC) but the only way for that to happen within a decade is for people to buy a ton of TMNT and similar clix.

Posted by: Kragnorak on 3/10/2016 12:48:10 PM
@Coptur T eh MotU stuff is now connected to the DCU, so that one is somewhat possible.

Any '03 tmnt figs here? I looove that show :)

Posted by: Superboy402 on 3/7/2016 7:54:50 PM
@Mantis

I think the fast forces have the same older sculpts but with the color bandanas, so no need to repaint.

Posted by: Lord Logan on 3/4/2016 10:50:19 PM
Thanks for putting me right The Le but...

Child of the 80s! Mine's getting a repaint! :)

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 3/2/2016 2:50:26 PM
Remember, the original TMNT all wore red. I believe it was the cartoon that changed them to different colors to differentiate them.

Posted by: The Le on 3/2/2016 12:20:49 PM
:( the better Donatello is a super-rare. I suppose I'll be settling for the 50 pointer with the RED bandanna. Am I missing something here or is that a mistake?

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 3/1/2016 10:41:55 PM
Those are pretty good melee dials for 60 points...
9/10 would buy.

Posted by: Gilly_Moosh on 2/26/2016 10:35:00 AM
love them both and would also like to see MOTU and Thundercats (and Visionaries). I think if you're going to give the turtles range they should have limited shurikens much like the halo heroclix grenades.

Posted by: Coptur on 2/26/2016 7:55:37 AM
@MantisWarrior, you forget the Shredder, armored and deadly leader of the Foot; without penetrating damage, the Turtles are dead meat.

Posted by: Jic on 2/25/2016 12:27:49 PM
When it comes to Raphael, I'm favouring the 60 point dial. You get a lot for those 10 points. An extra click and full dial move and attack. Shame to lose the penetrating damage but I don't figure many turtle foes will have reducers. Is it me or should Raphael be the only turtle with range? He used to chuck those sai about the place a fair bit I'm sure. Or is that just in the cartoon of my childhood?

Awesome, here comes a Foot Clan army!

Nice! People need to buy the snot outta these so that more IndyClix are made!

About time too for the turtles to join that scrub Daredevil that stole their origin story ;-)

No. Freakin'. Way.

Posted by: J.I.C. on 7/24/2015 1:38:16 PM
Thanks jpoof. I prior to that I have heard rumor that they will be including black and white versions as well (this covering classic).

FINALLY!

That is all.

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 6/4/2015 4:10:43 AM
I thought this was a joke but I checked the spelling this time no hints for fake that I've seen so I'm super excited for dicemasters set

Posted by: DCsKnight on 6/3/2015 6:30:06 PM
Not trying to be picky but I hope they do the color coded bands instead of the all red. If they had two different of each one with one red and one their color that'd be cool too.

Posted by: Lord Logan on 6/3/2015 11:54:50 AM
SOOOOOOO is this NOT A JOKE!! is this really gonna happen!!
