Where's Seth 2010 Lost CitiesMost recently, I've been hired to design and develop more board and card games. It's been pretty exciting to work on non-collectable games where everything has to be self-contained and polished in a single box. As I write this, I just finished post-playtesting prototypes for my first trio of games, and they're off to the publisher at the end of this week to see if they make the final cut.

Sounds like a lot, I know. Can you believe there are also a handful of projects I can't talk about at all yet? Yeah, I've been pretty busy.

Anyone who's interested in keeping up with me can check out my website, and my attached blog the Funlab, where I'm starting up a new feature in November that might be of interest to HeroClix fans. You can also track how late I'm up battling insomnia and deadlines by watching when I post to my Twitter feed, and track what I'm reading for research and distraction over on Google Reader.

So that's what I've been up to for the last two years. I can't wait to see what happens in the next two. (Maybe this year I'll finally win the Tournament of Death and seize control of that ninja clan. Not that I'll need it if the robot army finishes building itself.)

Oh, and I'll be at the west coast event for Clix for the Cure in November. Hope to see some of you there!

Seth Johnson was lead designer for many years on HeroClix, up until Topps disbanded Wizkids in 2008. A three-part interview was done with him in 2009, found here, which included an image of a never-released prototype Spider-Man HeroClix.

Your Comments:
The Exiles Spider-Man image was part of the 2009 interview I did with Seth. On the bottom page 3 of this article is a link to the interview (the interview was done in three parts).
