#2 Flight Stands
A lot of people where happy to see flight stands removed from 'clix while some were disappointed. And while I don't think that anyone really misses the soaring mechanic, what the removal of flight stands did was eliminate the quick visual reference for the flight ability.

I'm sure most of us have forgotten about a figure having flight at some point in the game without that small little reminder that was the flight stand (I know I have!). It might have been flight on one of your figures or one of your opponents, but simple mistakes like that can often prove costly. 

Luckily, Gale Force 9 has created some easy to assemble acrylic flight stands!  (image, right) These simple clear stands allow the figure to sit on top of them, once again giving us that quick visual reference for flight. They also break down to store relatively flat so they don't take up much space.

Alternatively, Mage Knight used to use a clear "upside down cup" that the figures would sit on to indicate flight. If you know any former or current MK players it's a good bet that they have a number of these hanging around. 

Either the GF9 stands or MK cups are good options and both are quickly removed from the figure if it loses the flight ability. Never forget that Karate Kid is a flier again!
