#3 Blades/Claws/Fangs
When this character is given a close combat action, you may roll a d6 after making a successful attack roll. The result replaces this character’s damage value, then that damage value is locked.
(right: Veteran Shi, 47 points, 11 attack value, Stealth and 3 awesome clicks of B/C/F)
I'm always surprised at the number of people who dislike the original IndyClix. They're highly underrated if only because there's a lot of B/C/F in there. Think about it -- where else are you going to to find figures under 80 points that has a 33% chance to deal 5 or more damage? With probability control that jumps to a whopping 57%!

#2 Toughness
Damage dealt to this character is reduced by 1.
There's three different forms of damage reduction out there: Impervious, Invulnerability, and Toughness. People often laugh at Toughness because it only reduces 1 damage, but that's usually all you need to prevent damage from Energy Explosion, knock back, or any other number ot things .
Short sighted players will argue that Invulnerability and Impervious are better, but all forget that Toughness is much, much cheaper on the figure than any other damage reducer out there. Just one click of Impervious can drive your figure's cost to become too-expensive-to-justify, whereas Toughness will do just fine.
