The Prisoner - Number Six
Patrick McGoohan played the lead character in "The Prisoner" for all 17 episodes. He passed away Tuesday January 13th. He was 80. I've actually never seen a single episode of The Prisoner, but it seems to have a strong cult following. I remember seeing the intro a few times on PBS, but it was just weird, so I always changed the channel. Accoring to author James Follett, Number Six is the one who originally thought up of the Village as a benign retirement home for agents; when he found out that they implemented it as a hell hole, he intentionally retired early in order to be sent there and tear it apart. Fascinating stuff, but I'm still not interested in seeing it. The Prisoner (who claimed to be "Peter Smith" in one episode), is represented here by Mister Tawky Tawny stats, Joe Chill stats, and Matthew "Red" Ryan stats.

Oh, as for Number 6's identity, it was generally assumed to be John Drake, the character he'd played for years on BBC's DANGER MAN (released in the US as SECRET AGENT), and I believe that even in one of the later episodes the referee in a boxing match seems to shout "John Drake" at a volume and speed intended to make it almost indiscernible as a name. While I don't know that there's ever been an official call on it the sense I have is that Peter Smith was just an alias for him. I believe AMC has all of the episodes available on their site as part of a run-up to a remake they're scheduled do.

Thanks for the addition! Looking over existing Bystanders I'd suggest another of the Challengers as a possibility: Leslie "Rocky' Davis. He should be a solid, wily close combatant, and while not making a big point of it he eschewed using guns, so the lack of range (as you generally followed) makes sense. Kyle "Ace" Morgan could work well, too. The 6 range is the main reason I didn't suggest Jimmy Woo, though the other stats and Willpower fit. As with any character I'd really like, though, I'd prefer a full clix, but these are solid tries.

Prisoner is a great show, you should check it out. Its great on DVD where you can watch a bunch of em in a row, that m akes it easier to get into. Mystery, Intrigue, Action, its got it all, and the series ends in such a way that leaves you wanting more. Thanks for these mods. Im going to work on a Prisoner themed Clix game to use them with. Ill keep you posted.
