03-18-2015: Over on Facebook, Kristopher F posted this slide confirming a SUPERMAN / WONDER WOMAN HeroClix set, available in October. We're not exactly sure where it came from, but it looks legit to us!

Hellooo, Deadshot! Gotta get this!

Wow, what a strong fast forces!
Love the aging trait on superman, should be fun.
The low point value Doctor Fate is a serious support fig.
Check out the range and targets on that sub-100 Green Lantern.

Only downer is we need a regular continuity Hawk Girl more than this alternate one IMHO.

Can't wait to get all the Batman figures. LOL

Posted by: DCsKnight on 10/27/2015 3:30:30 PM
@ YNK
How did I miss that? Thanks I am a fool sometimes.

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 10/23/2015 7:34:18 AM
@MantisWarrior: It's Superman II, who was previewed a couple weeks ago.

Brutaal by name and nature. The 175 line is where its at with this fig. The 100 line is great but the gains for those 75 points are too good to pass up on it you're running anything other than an apocalips horde theme team. Makes me wonder what the non prime is for this rarity. Is it superman or another Ultraman? Please please please an uncommon supes!!!

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 10/11/2015 1:34:52 AM
Bruutal is the perfect example of the power creep that Heroclix is experiencing. Needless to say, if I get him, he will be on every team I play with

Posted by: UhhitsJon on 10/10/2015 9:19:39 AM
FAIL!!!Why does Superman red/blue have to be a rare/ prime. No way will players who want him, get him.

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 10/8/2015 11:54:57 PM
Yet more bystander generation from Hades. I look forward to using him in golden age with some rookie infinity challenge thugs! Upgrade!!!!
Lack of move and attack nerfs him somewhat though the traits help and I LOVE the anti-stop-click silver bullet.

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 10/8/2015 11:52:15 PM
Hermes takes the bystander generation to a whole new level. Support and Precision Strike! And he gets 2 of them with the chance to generate more. His damage value is a little low but the HSS Prob Control and Invincible means he'll be around for a while. If he had Indomitable he'd be over the top great so it's nice to see that he doesn't have it, thus keeping him below the 150 mark.

Set list is looking good so far. A few new figs not done before, a few needed updates and a few A-listers in desperate need of a commons slot version. I was teaching clip to a new batch of players last week and who do they reach for for their first character? Big Blue of course. I'm really hoping we see a common version as well as that sweet super rare sculpt. Common Wonder Woman gives me hope for a JSA version at least.

Considering the Robot was created by Toyman (the kid one), it does make sense.

Posted by: Mike on 9/29/2015 8:52:21 AM
@Malakai: I think he's been confirmed to be an SR.

Did anyone else notice that the Superman/Batman Robot has the Toy keyword? There's something really funny about that.

Here's hoping there will be some new figures in this set... Not revamps of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. I like these characters but would it kill NECA to release something new like the Legion of Super Pets, or some of the really rare characters like Jimmy Olsen or Lois Lane?

Posted by: David Hawk on 9/23/2015 7:28:19 PM
I hope that's SA Earth-One Superman and he's like 350-400 points.

Posted by: Iplayclixbetterthanyou on 5/15/2015 3:32:27 PM
Krypto! I heard a rumor that some sort of legal crap was keeping him from ever getting remade. Glad to see that isn't true. He's probably an SR though.

Legion updates we could use include:
Dream Girl, Bouncing Boy, Karate Kid, Element Lad.

Posted by: superfriend on 4/7/2015 10:16:56 AM
Public Enemies is a way to connect Supes, Lex and Captain Atom in one story reference. We'll have to wait and see if more are revealed along those lines. The Supergirl story tied to the Wonder Woman and the Amazons as well. The third S/B story arc brought in the Legion, and I am hoping we get some new Legion in this set as well, especially Light(ning) Lass, Quislet and Ferro Lad.

Posted by: superfriend on 4/6/2015 9:44:55 AM
I see the cast from the Batman/Superman Public Enemies and Supergirl Story Arcs in this set.

Posted by: Harker on 4/6/2015 6:38:17 AM
Latest news is that this set will have super boosters. Bricks will be 8 regular boosters and 1 super booster. Super boosters will contain colossal figures in colossal sculpts similar to Marvel Galactic Guardians set from a few years back.

I like giants, like we got in SLOSH, not sure how I feel about the colossal sculpts.

Posted by: superfriend on 3/30/2015 11:54:05 AM
Glad I could help Prince!

Posted by: David on 3/27/2015 12:38:03 PM
David,
LMAO, man you had tears in my eyes.
Thanks needed that today, man!

Posted by: Prince of Orphans on 3/26/2015 4:12:49 PM
Why are all of these sculpts just standing around poses? Another Lex Luthor in the Battle Suit? What's with Superman with the Zoolander "Blue Steel" look he's got going on.....

Posted by: David on 3/26/2015 7:20:54 AM
Hoping Superman is a common/uncommon as new players need a readily available flagship character. Same for Wonder Woman and batman if he's in the set too. Captain Atom is very welcome (although has a clix ever looked more grumpy!?! I want to give him muffins and a pat on the head!)
Here's hoping lex is a prime and we get lexbot/armoured goons in the main slot.

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 3/25/2015 9:12:55 AM
I really want a Ray Palmer atom only carded one is Blackest Night and other than that origins is the only atom. I also hope to see an Ace the Bat Hound. I got so excited to see Captain Atom and Krypto in a set.

Posted by: Tylor on 3/21/2015 2:21:28 PM
Hmmm, I don't know. Somethings look a little odd to me, but somethings look pretty real.

Posted by: GILLY25 on 3/19/2015 9:56:00 AM
How am I going to convince any potential WizKids people reading this that we would rather have a less recently made character than one made 4 times in the past 2 years if the two people who respond after my comment say "another one is OK".

"I'd rather have Atomic Skull."
"We need a remake of Metallo more."
"If we must get a remake of an A level Superman villain which we have lots of versions of, how about a Brainiac with the Legion of Doom keyword instead as we have not seen him since the DC 10th Anniversary set."

Trinity War was so full of recent remakes it was painful to buy it.

Posted by: superfriend on 3/19/2015 8:59:49 AM
This is pretty cool. I really wanted an Arkham Knight set though.
Also, would it kill someone to get us a new Mad Hatter?
As for the gazillion Lexs I don't mind as long as they're all differen .

Posted by: Custard on 3/18/2015 8:04:17 PM
If this is the closest we ever get to a Wonder Woman set, then I won't complain. I also am going to guess this is Wizkids way of getting around the awful looking costume changes that DC has coming up for Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman if he is in the set. I barely like WW new outfit of the three, can't stand the other two.

While I do agree that we don't need another Lex. I guess I will take one since he is Superman's ally now. Since this will be the 5th Lex in the last 5 DC sets. Hopefully we will also get a Shazam/Captain Marvel who has the Justice League keyword. Also my biggest HOPE is one remake that we get is a tiny "Classic outfit" Ray Palmer Atom.

I am glad to see Krypto back and Captain Atom is a good remake. I just hope whoever is in the set that the keywords are correct and not screwed up like in Trinity War. Since about half of the JL and JL of A keyword members should be on the other team.

It came from the GAMA 2015 event going on this week in Las Vegas.

Initial reaction - nice to see WW getting a major focus. Nice to see a remake of Capt Atom and Krypto. But who in their right mind thinks we need another Lex after 2 in SLOSH and 2 in JLTW?

Hopes - New Gods, Olympians, Villainy Inc, Revenge Squad, More LOSH, JL Dark missing from JLTW.
