HeroClix Captain AmericaThe Le:You mentioned the ups and downs of collector's sets. NBC Heroes has got to be one of the worst shows on television (season one included). That being said, what ever happened to the Heroes collector's set?

Jason Mical: I can't answer only because this was after my time.

The Le: Can you give us the skinny on this mysterious "Smokey Cap" figure?

Jason Mical: Ditto.

The Le: What are you working on these days?

Jason Mical: Well in my day job I'm making the world safe for big corporations. I'm still at the PR agency I went to when I left WizKids, Edelman PR. I came here to work on the Xbox 360 originally but I've branched out into community management and digital PR much more, and I only occasionally work with Xbox nowadays.

As far as personal projects go I'm working on a novel (about superheroes) and another writing project about being an American Ex-Pat in London. The other thing I've been working on is something I can't really talk about yet, but it's gaming-related, so stay tuned.

I've spent the last two years living in the UK and have been travelling a lot, something I've always wanted to do. My wife and I are moving back to Seattle in December though. We couldn't go any longer without decent Mexican food!

The Le: MMmmm....Xbox360... I've been hooked on Gears of War 2, Civ Revolution, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and my new favorite, 1 vs 100. What are you playing on there these days? And do you have an Xbox Live name you'd like to share with the rest of the readers?

HeroClix Lego BatmanJason Mical: You're going to laugh but my wife and I love playing the LEGO games together - Batman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars. She's not a gamer so it's good to have a game she likes too. Myself: I'm working through Fable 2 at the moment. I thought Ghostbusters was pretty good for what it was, and I always dig playing some Rock Band. Oh, and the updated Secret of Monkey Island. Speaking of, Telltale's games are slowly but surely resurrecting the adventure genre, the new Sam & Max games and now new Monkey Island games. If you're into adventure gaming, definitely check them out.

I downloaded MVC2 but I haven't really had anyone to play it against. Left 4 Dead is great fun but I'm just not good or competitive enough to play it online against the hardcore gamers. I also finished Fallout 3 and all the little downloadable stuff for it, and I would highly recommend it as well.

My Xbox Live name is - yup - BrotherMagneto. Incidentally that's my Twitter moniker as well if you want to keep in touch with me on that newfangled platform.

I haven't done any role-playing since I moved to London unfortunately but I've got some campaign ideas in store for when I move back home.

Your Comments:
wintremute: If you could make ONE change to HeroClix (rules, system, whatever), what would it be and why would you do it?

Jason Mical: Make HorrorClix 100% compatible with HeroClix, which is how it should be.

Amen. I so want 100% Heroclix-compatible AVP miniatures (based more off the video games and comics and less off the lackluster movies), plus fully compatible Freddy & Jason (based off of more than just that one single movie), generic zombies, generic vamps, generic werewolves, etc., etc.

Neat. Staying tuned.

I can understand the need for decent Mexican Food...I can't understand going to Seattle to get it.
