#5 ID Rings
Although currently hard to find, ID Rings are a staple element of many player's tackle boxes. These rubber rings came in various colors, everything from primes to pastels to metallics, and fit around the base of the figures.
Their primary purpose is to quickly identify a team. But they can serve a few other purposes as well. Players have used a different color ring to identify a figure with a particular feat attached to it (such as Protected or In Contact with Oracle). They can also be used to identify your figures during a "draft" scenario where someone else ends up playing your figure.
If you don't already have ID Rings in your box of items to take to tournaments and you have the opportunity to pick some up, do it. They are well worth the price in versatility. Plus, they just make the boring black bases look cool!
