Batman Beyond - Ace
This Great Dane was the pet and protector for an aged Bruce Wayne, making his appearance in the premier Batman Beyond episode. Ace was actually bought by a pet store owner who ran an illegal dog-fighting ring. Ace eventually escaped and found Bruce – maybe it’s their messed up lives that brought them together? Bruce adopted Ace, who would later be critical in helping Terry McGinnis (the new Batman) in several battles. So the Dark Knight has its Robin, while the Future Knight has its Ace.
I actually rather like dogs, but I don't think I could ever own one. They're a lot of maintenance. I prefer cats, since I only need to clean their kitty litter once per week.
