HeroClix Slade Files: John ConstantineGreetings players! Welcome back for another edition of the Slade Files. This time my subject comes from the Justice League New 52 set #019 John Constantine.

(related: Justice League HeroClix Spoilers)

John Constantine is a unique character with a low cost. Let’s see what 59 points will get you these days.

Keywords
Constantine has just two keywords for team building purposes: Justice League and Mystics.

Combat values
As far as combat values go, John isn’t setting the world on fire. In fact he has little to offer in terms of playability from a numbers perspective. With only 4 clix of life and sub-par values, at first glance JC seems like little more than overpriced mastermind fodder. But then we all know there is more to him than this so let’s move on.

Slade Files: John COnstantine

Traits
His Trait, RIDING THE SYNCHRONICITY HIGHWAY states that John Constantine is a Wild Card. This in essence grants him a second team ability. This opens up will open up some options for the Hellblazer on the battlefield.

Your Comments:
Yeah, I think he is well worht his points as well. But, I get what the author is saying. He is fragile and one good hit is mostlikley going to take him out of the game.

"Just barely makes the cut"? I would like to point out that this game basically runs on probability control nowadays. 59 points to neuter the strongest power in the meta is almost always worth the investment. And on the off chance you're playing someone without any use of prob? Just push him into even further utility. Mystics + his own wild card not only gives him tons of options for team building but takes the place that Jason Blood had in many of Wildcarded Mystics teams. In essence, John's going to be your perfect counter to scarlet witch enthusiasts.
