Awesome Clix: Iceman

Here's one of my favorite gems to come form the Tab App era - Iceman! He's a great secondary attacker for just 95 points!

HeroClix IceMan TabApp

Not only is he mobile (Running Shot), he's got a pseudo-#Incapactiate ability for three clicks, which laters turns in to Poison!

Right: Discounted HeroClix

Add on some Toughness, Plasticity, range, and the TA, and you've got yourself an excellent attack piece for just 95 points!

As if that wasn't enough, he's got a touch of Regeneration and Barrier in there to help keep him alive. With all that plasticity, he could be a good candidate for Entangle for you golden age players.

And with 2 clicks of early Shape Change, we also like the $$Camoutflage option!

Now it's our turn -- do you like Iceman? Why or why not?

Swapped the sculpt with one of the iceman on his slide. Now he's gold on my x teams.

His powers seem good, but I don't like the big head Tab App clix.

He looks pretty cool. See what i did there?

Best iceman in the game.

This is my favorite iceman in heroclix. The power set is what appeals to me. It's simple, and accurate to the character. Most iceman pieces have a complicated power that leaves debri or is an expensive taxi. This piece represents an iceman that doesn't just iceslide around the battle, but actually participates. The powers also cover the main powers he uses; changing shape, causing frostbite to characters up close, and a last ditch chance to regenerate. His 7 range, incapacitate power and nice point cost add up to a great iceman.

Of course, the sculpt isn't ideal, but of all the tabapp, icemans sense of humor could actually explain the goofy sculpt!

>>Oh and The Le do you ever post anywhere who has won your free clix?

I do not. There's a few reasons I don't do it -- I don't have a "login" system here, so you can't hide your name, and people may want to keep their name private.

I also don't want them going crazy if they're not happy with their prize (you'd be surprised at the kind of trolls that are out there), or if they're upset that I take too long to send it to them (which is common since I don't get to the post office often).

But mostly I don't want to exploit people by posting their names. If they really want to celebrate receiving a freebie from HeroClix world, they're welcome to post it on Facebook or Twitter.

For April Fool's, I was thinking about giving away Nickelback CDs.

Oh and The Le do you ever post anywhere who has won your free clix? I know you are dishing them out as I was lucky enough to win one :)
I'd love to see who beat me to the prize on the others though. There have been some very cunning tactical insights and laugh out loud funny posts from others and it would be good to see which tickled your funny/tactics bone.

A solid dial with most if the powers Bobby should have. But. And it's a big but, (Think Beyonce), I wouldn't use this guy, ever. Normally I agree with The Le who knows all however:
A) I cannot cope with the Superhero Squad melon-head sculpt.
B) For 4 points less I can have the WXM one with his sidestep, improved movement, extra click of health and awesome barrier special that allows you to attack at the same time. And who looks less like a cantaloupe!
The poison on this one is cool though.

For 95 points we have Running Shoot (17/16 reach) with 3 Damage + Pseudo-Incapacitate, aiming to make enemyes push.

Plasticity + Poison is a good combo too, making some meelee guys thinking 2 times before engaging him, it's hard to change your mind.

Shape Change and Regeneration rises the surivability of this warrior ...

Cool ... Heroclix and Chill !!!

I like his versatility at both ends of the dial. Running shot to keep moving and shape change to make you miss. If you finally base him late in the dial poison makes you think twice. Then when you think he's down and out regen brings him back. A very pesky figure.
