DreamClix Zombie Apocalypse HeroClixHUMANS
Humans are pretty much standard HeroClix fair, and is not much different than figures in the DC/Marvel HeroClix universe. Life would vary for each human... some will have 6 clicks of life while others will have more. You could even add children into the mix with 3 clicks of life.

As for combat stats, all humans should start out with [2] damage.
Since standards zombies have 3 clicks of life, it will take two good melee hits to kill it, unless you score a critical. Sounds tough, but frankly it's shouldn't be easy to kill a zombie with your fists alone. Fortunately we have weapons (more on that later).

RANGEBITE IMMUNITY
Humans don't need a range-value so it should always be 0 (throwing your shoe does no damage). So this part of the dial should be replaced with a Bite Immunity value, usually +1 to +4. Remember, and the end of your turn, your human rolls 2d6 for each Zombie Bite Token it currently has, and each result of 9 or less deals 1 unavoidable damage. The Bite Immunity value gives you a bonus to your roll! So with a +3 bonus, your Zombie Bite roll only fails when you roll a 6 or less! This makes some characters more immune than others, which may change your strategy when playing, and helps keep humans interesting.

DreamClix Zombie Apocalypse HeroClixMOVE & ATTACK
All humans are automatically given Charge, Running Shot, and Willpower. Period. Seriously, when the Zombie Apocalypse arrives, you're going to have plenty of adrenaline to keep you moving.

CRITICAL HITS
Oh, and all critical hits deal +2 damage (i.e. when you roll a natural 12). Since your fists are already doing [2] damage, that critical will usually result in an instant kill!

MELEE ATTACKS (HUMAN)
Like DC/Marvel HeroClix, attacking is done with 2 dice, and you can only attack once per turn if you aren’t pushed. You can simply use a Combat Action to make your attack, or use Charge or Running Shot to move before being given your Combat Action.

Unlike Marvel/DC HeroClix, Zombie Apocalypse HeroClix would be highly dependent on weapons.

Like the ideas i really do, but Horrorclix are still quite easy to get a hold of, and it has enough varied Zombies and Humans (survivor types)to fullfil your zombie needs.

Me and my best gaming buddy recently bought a couple of cases of Horrorclix between us and have mixed things up between the Horror and Hero systems a few times now with some fun results.

My recommendation for playing a mix of both systems would be to use the Horrorclix rules system as your basis and only use heroes from the avengers set or earlier, anything newer is way to unbalanced due to power creep.
even like this zombies still dont hold out too well against the heroes so give the zombie player extra VP's for killing/converting victims to help counter balance things.
Another cool twist is to allow the zombie player to convert any heroes he slays into thier Zombie version if you have access to the models, failing that they can replace the slain hero with a Zombie Minion instead

Wow. I would seriously play this everyday. Awesome ideas. Have you worked out any more info for the game? For example, do the zombies stop for hindering terrain? How many actions do they get? 3 for a 300 point team?

How about a Special Power where a zombie can "pop out" from a specially marked square and roll a die to see if he can attack? You know, to simulate when zombies appear out of nowhere to attack the survivors? So many ideas...

I agree with ikari. Go with movie themes. Not just horror or sci-fi. How about a figure of Scarface? "Say hello to my little friend!" They can be small booster packs like they did with Hex. Not just movies! How about video game characters too. I can see it now....Mortal Combat Scorpion takes on Marvel villain Scorpion. "Get over here!" The possiblities are awesome.

The 'Hunter' pounces people. The Smoker drags things over. Also should give him plasticity as a trait, too, just because he's that hard to beat down.
