Slade Files Magneto HeroClixPlaying Magneto: Magneto is a beast at ranged combat. The combination of a 10 range value and Magnetic Mastery make for some serious damage. His trait also helps protect him from ranged attacks, while forcing the opposition to get in range of his double telekinesis attack. The trait also gives him the ability to boost his combat values by +1 when he is occupying a debris marker. Speaking of Debris, I have a feeling that BFC is going to see a lot of play with Magneto in the golden age format.

Debris (Battlefield Condition): Each player contributes three additional objects to the object pile before objects are placed on the battlefield. Players must place all objects in the object pool on the battlefield.

Slade Files Magneto Giant Size X-Men

Combating Magneto: One word comes to mind, Stealth! Use Stealth to avoid getting hit by multiple objects and ranged attacks. Another way is to beat the master at his own game. By this I mean use Telekinesis yourself to get a character in close and hit him hard for some serious damage. Up close Magneto is easier to deal with, but remember he may have brought some friends with him. So be careful about sending a character in all by themselves.

using him, blob sabretooth and the slew of hellions is a sick team to use for gauntlet (1v1 rounds, and any damage is carried over to the next round) he actually won me the game (that and sabretooth with the crimson gem) he is sick, he blasted deadpoop for a one turn kill, opponent whined and moaned and threw a tantrum. no hes not 6, hes 26 (somewhere around there)

Magneto should have had a power called Mind over Metal
Where he would be able to control someone with robot
Or armor keyword

I'm looking forward to playing this Magneto, whenever I can get one. The IC Magneto was great, but only on his first hit. After that he was done for. The AW Magneto kicked ass, but without tk he just wasn't Magneto-y enough. So I always liked the Ultimates version best for the dial, but I usually played the dial with the IC sculpt.

Magneto is an excellent fig.
This is clearly the best version of the " Master of Magnetism " !

I bought a brick just so I can land this fig. If I don't get it, well I might just buy another one. For 189 points he is a bad*** fig. Can't wait for my brick!

Wow, this guys nuts! However, my personal fav Magneto will always be the Infinity Challenge Veteran version. Ah, the memories...
