Clerks - Dante
The protagonist of Clerks is probably the most annoying -- even more so than Randal. He constantly whines about being at the store on his day off, and deals with the most ridiculous and annoying people of all. As someone who worked as mom & pop store clerk for 10 years, let me tell you this -- those people are real. Honestly, they come in all types and you think the customers there are extreme -- but they’re not. As for Dante, his whininess is probably what makes him so real. I see people all the time who think they’re trapped in life, unwilling to open the door to something new. Sad, but very realistic.
