HeroClix Nick Fury Dial

Still, when combined with the S.H.I.E.L.D. Enforcer and Black Widow, both of which comes from this Team Pack, NICK’s special power is going to be very useful indeed.

NICK FURY’s middle dial clearly anticipates being in the middle of a fight. Perplex, Willpower, Plasticity, and Combat Reflexes are really there for the close combat scene, which will take him away from his Utility usage. It’s still not so bad because can hold his own with Combat Reflexes, which will boost him from a natural [16] defense to an 18 against melee foes.

The end of the dial is where things get really interesting, thanks to some precious Outwit and a single click of Flurry.  Unfortunately the Flurry won’t mean much by the end of the dial since NICK’s down to [1] damage, but if he’s on those two clicks of Outwit then he’s going to be a huge threat to anyone.

Correction: As pointed out by JASTER in the comments, that last click is actually Blades/Claws/Fangs, not Flurry, which turns Nick Fury into a potential [6] damage character! Take that, Hulk! Good catch, JASTER!

Overall, NICK FURY should hold his own well in a S.H.I.E.L.D. themed team. He's more of a secondary or tertiary attacker, so don't use him as a tentpole for your team. That being said, he's nice to fill in for a utility role.

Recommended Feats: Lucky Break, Alias, Brilliant Tactician, Warbound (if you are playing a S.H.I.E.L.D. team), and Frog Legs (if it is a water map).

Also available in the Shield Team Pack:: Shield Enforcer and Black Widow

Push him onto his 2nd click w/ Stealth, Willpower and Perplex, and let him go to town!?!

There are a TON of figs, especially Golden Age, that can really benefit from the Trait: Sinister SHIELD Sniper and Winter Soldier immediately come to mind.

Cost efficient piece if used correctly. BLury!

I think modders will be happy to get a Sam Jackson sculpt. Add a ponytail, and he's the thug from Jackie Brown; stick this head on a Purifier and you have Mace Windu; give him a Jheri curl and you have Jules Winnfield :-)

The trait will be awesome for an All Shield TA built on range. Samuel L. Jack... um... Mace Wind... uh... I mean Nick Fury totally kick a**!!! :-)

Can you say hello to FCBD Iron Man's new best friend? Hello new best friend.

The last click is Blades/Claws/Fangs, not Flurry. So the 1 Damage is great at keeping his cost low, but also allowing him to get some good damage in before he is KO'd.
