The Amazing Spider-Man is one of the longest running comic book series in history. It's a shame that it ends with issue #700, but today we're celebrating it with the Top 10 Amazing Spider-Man covers!

"The Amazing Spider-Man is an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics, featuring the adventures of the fictional superhero Spider-Man. Being the mainstream continuity of the franchise, it began publication in 1963 as a monthly periodical and was published continuously until it was relaunched with a new numbering order in 1999.

In 2003 the series reverted to the numbering order of the first volume."

Chosen as Aaron Longbine's favorite, true believers know that Issue 129 marked the first appearance of The Punisher! And, as this 1974 cover indicates, it's also the first appearance of the Jackal!
