@Mantis Warrior: Mostly because I'm lazy. It's easier and faster to make 9 Bystanders based on 1 stat, rather than 9 different stats. No worries -- I can mix it up just a bit in the next Bystander Party!

Hi The Le! I get the reason for using a pre existing bystander token, barring a picture change they're legal in golden age. That's genius by the way!

What I don't understand is why they ALL use one pre existing bystander i.e. the fair lady Valerie of Cooper. The pre- existing bystanders I've suggested in my post below seem to make more sense to me as a statline for those custom bystanders (bearing in mind Chessman's comment).

I love the idea of custom bystanders and appreciate the effort you have gone to to make them look so professional, I'd just like different stats on different tokens to reflect their "powers". Will be printing off my Dana Scully and Peggy Carter today though. I'm sure Dana would join S.H.I.E.L.D. if I asked her nicely!

The purpose of the "Bystander Party" is to use new images for existing Bystanders -- to have fun in your home games without worrying too much about legality. It's unlikely you'll ever get to use a custom dial a game with a judge running it -- but a custom bystander with stats from an official Bystander (Val Cooper)? That's easier to get approved. You won't get any complaints, especially if you print out the official Val Cooper to prove that the stats are the same.

As for Bystanders with "new" stats -- that may come down the line, but the Clix Craves and Quintessential articles already fill that role. After all, Chewie should be a full dial rather than a single life Bystander.

The 'Bystander Party' will always be new images of existing official Bystanders.

Hoorah the return of custom Bystanders! Out of interest why do they all use Val Cooper? It works for Peggy and Dana but not really for Chewie. Stealth Wookie!?!? Or the cat. Ranged stare of grumpiness!?!?

I really do appreciate your site The Le it's probably my favourite one for clix as it is more off beat and less 'meta' but I'd love to see a bit more thought go into the stats for these.

To show willing I suggest:
Overly Attached Girlfriend: Space Phantom-Supernova. There's your plasticity and some shape change (you shouldn't hit girls!) for 9 points.
Snoopy: Lila Cheney-MuMo. There ar no flying Bystanders but you could go Lockheed (Sinister)for Leap/Climb (8 points)

For Chewbacca I'd say Misty Knight (FF) for Super strength and toughness or if you can cope with the Leap/Climb Ken Hale (Avengers) for Toughness and more wookie stats.

Orco needs a spell so perhaps Sin Eater (sinister) for 9 points and energy explosion (i seem to remember stuff blowing up around Orco all the time!)

Finally Grumpy Cat could either be downgraded to Lian Harper status of given some claws with Coleen Wing (FF) for 10 points.

I have no idea who Dale adn Edward are though:)
