The Quintessential Ninjak HeroClix

Welcome to the Quintessential series -- where we present the ideal HeroClix dial for your favorite heroes (and villains)! That's right, Eric Schaen returns on his take of one of Valiant Comics best -- NINJAK!

Continued below (dial by Eric Schaen)

The Quintessential Ninjak HeroClix

For 136 you get a powerful primary attack with an attach value of 11 for nearly the entire dial and lots of Blades/Claws/Fangs! Add to that some Stealth and Charge and you have a very mobile attacker that will avoid being seen.

On the defensive side he's got some Invulnerability and Toughness, and on the offensive he's got 2 to 3 damage for the entire dial. Don't let that low damage fool you -- with Outwit and Exploit Weakness, he can damage even the Hulk!

So have you been reading Ninjak? What do you think of Eric's dial? Let us know!

Your Comments:
Dude valiant clix would be great. Especially Ninjak, he's like Batman and a James bond's love child.

Yeah the wording seems a little redundant at first glance but it does make sense. Basically he can use normal stealth but if he has no tokens and occupies hinderring terrain, he can't be targeted by any line of fire not just a hindered lof.

I like the dial and hope we get real valiant characters in clix someday.

Great damage output with lower defences to balance him out. Pretty playable. I'm wondering the same thing as Chippy, does that trait cancel improved targeting as intended or would the hindering terrain he is standing in still be ignored? Would the wording need to say 'cannot be chosen as a target' or something similar? Don't you just love clix powers wording...?

I don't know much about this guy but I always thought he looked cool. Seeing this dial makes me want to pick up a graphic novel to see what he's all about.

I like his trait. The second sentence seems redundant since it's just a weakened Stealth, but it serves as a backup defense against characters who can ignore/cancel stealth. Only downside is that it makes him a little harder for his friends to see.
Strike From The Shadows also really nails the ninja-assassin feeling.
