My kid brother got this when it first came out and we were first getting into Heroclix. Thor has always been his favorite character and so this piece was his pride and joy... until we played a few times. He got so frustrated with the fact that it was a total glass jaw. sure its a 500 beast but it is super vulnerable to a small team of ranged attackers with outwit in their arsenal. With only one Lightning Bolt the chariot will only be able to retaliate against on attacker. So my team which almost always consists of an Iron Man would always destroy the chariot. I think the biggest flaw in the chariot was the defense values, here you have a piece thats costing 500 pts but his highest defense value is equal to that of my 185 SI Iron man, 18. So when it came down to actual clash, on outwit attack for 4 damage sets The Mighty Avengers Go Kart up for a nice fall after a round of ranged attacks. I almost always took this piece out in one turn, without losing any characters, then i picked off whatever minions he had left in the build and the match would be done. He never uses this thor any more, its just a cool looking piece.

I don't get the hate. It's not great at 500 points, but the dial itself isn't bad. HOT was over 6 years ago! This piece could do a potential 12 damage (UH on first attack) with 12 attack and 6 movement exploit without modifiers. That's a team wrecker right there.

I don't play in ultra meta games very often, but I would run this in a 1000 point home game in a heart beat. I don't get the hate.

Okay first lets look at the structure. Poor Mjolnir looks more like a tire wrench then a mighty weapon. Thor looks likes his has been spending too much time in the grog shop and not enough on the mighty tread mill. I mean come on, even the rams are filthy. Not what I would expect of royalty. He is just stuck there with his unsightly mane. Lets not forget the vehicle, that really didn't get a vehicle set up. I mean all in all, he would have been better riding the actual ram in then the silver wagon that Freya left behind for her cats to hook up too.

Well, it's got my goat!

Actually I like ghetto figure. Yes it does have many draw backs and the regen spot on defense but against new players that font have a clue, very fun

THE 500 POINT COST

Posted by: crusader18 on 9/22/2015 2:18:36 PM
It's always funny when a friend gets one not knowing how bad it is.

Posted by: Alex on 9/22/2015 10:42:44 AM
I was thinking of trying it with some Asgardian characters with the Round Table. Bring in some big range pieces to benefit from his Enhancement. Maybe the AoU Thor to get a Support ingredients Jane Foster.

Posted by: Puuka on 9/22/2015 4:49:49 AM
Because it has the Vehicle Keyword but never got an errata to have any of the vehicle rules applied...

Yeah sure, the Batmobile gets the ram ability, but this thing doesn't get it though it has 2 actual rams in front of it!!!

Posted by: Dr. Doom on 9/21/2015 11:58:34 PM
It's a 500 point support piece with super strength. A team of 500 will shrek it!!!

@GGtheGreat,

If you're still interested in doing repaints, etc. Do the job, send them pics then wait for payment. If they never send, resell. Just a tip of advice to keep the passion going.

I hate this figure

I have never played it, but I hate it. You see, I do custom repaints through facebook groups, and someone wanted me to paint this thing. Just detail it. It was fun to paint, but the lady I was doing the paint job for ripped me off. I was to be paid in clix, a lot of CUR figures, and she never sent them to me. I reported her to the admin of the page, and he basicly didn't give a s**t. I haven't done many repaints or mods for anyone since.

I hate this figure

Well ...

All this space occupied in the board and it can carry only 2 figures, man, even Nite Owl (Watchmen) is better at beeing a vehicle.

500 points for 18-Defend, even some Mage Knight Rebellion Elemental Priest for 68 points had this.

Too many green clicks, it's not God of Thunder enought, it looks like some Swamp Thing themed stuff.

Low damage (for a 500pt) - 5, only in the first click, and no Penetration / Psychic Blast make other bulky figures laugh of the punny attacks directed to them.

At least it's good for redecorating the map, breaking all the walls and making it a loft and scaping from battle (with drag).

Posted by: Guilherme Maron on 9/21/2015 4:46:20 PM
Because it's the only vehicle with a person actually sculpted on it. (Yet Thor can't do anything but try to look intimidating.) Poor Thor!

Posted by: bizombyea on 9/21/2015 4:36:44 PM
Ok, lets see...Force Blast and Quake on the same clicks? I guess they really wanna knock away your characters from this goat turd. Running Shot and Exploit, why do I want these together?? Give me some Psychic Blast or even Incapacitate! Force Blast and Poison together at the end? Dumb. Out of a long 17 click dial only the first 3 clicks work together at all. Then it's just down hill from there. No wonder Odin is always banishing Thor from Asgard.

Posted by: Ho1ocau5t on 9/21/2015 4:21:27 PM
Defend ability lacks as the chariot needs the support rather then give it. As stated previous the damage is way to low for a Asgardian piece. The abilities do not support each other and forces the player to change tactics to match the ability.

Posted by: SCOURGE101 on 9/21/2015 3:52:21 PM
This is the worst figure in heroclix for one simple reason. It is a duo figure, but the game doesn't have any individual version of his rams. This means he can't split into Thor and two battle crazed rams.

Biggest. Missed. Opurtunity. Ever.

Posted by: Patrick on 9/21/2015 3:48:11 PM
Thor's Might Chariot is basically a support piece, but can't actually have any teammates because it takes up the entire 500 points. BUT it's given Enhancement, Battle-Forged (Defend) AND a carry ability, so those powers are basically wasted.
The defenses are bad too. The defense should never drop as low as it does for a 500 point dial. Plus the card states it can be adjacent to and be attacked by up to 12 characters. Also, it has no powers to counter Outwit, so what little defenses it does have will be taken away.
The majority of the Attack stat is 9! And the majority of the Damage stat is 3! That's way too low for the cost of using this click.

Posted by: AzulEmpath on 9/21/2015 3:38:29 PM
It looks AWESOME for me!!!

Posted by: Nabucodonosor on 9/21/2015 9:44:50 AM
Don't you just love a 500 point figure with support powers for the rest of your team? Ummm, no. What rest of team at that investment.

Oh well at least his powers are completely incompatible with duo attack so I needn't worry about using that mechanic.

At least for 500 points he never drops to something silly like 3 damage, or 9av or 15 defence. Oh hang on, he does.

AND THEY PRINT THE WORD MIGHTY ON HIS BASE!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: MantisWarrior on 9/21/2015 9:41:29 AM
I think giving the figure blades, claws, fangs is a stretch for hooves and horns. They should just change blades, claws, fangs to "something pointy." The rise in strength and damage for the last 3 clicks does not make sense either. The steady decline should continue. Those clicks seem like fluff just to make something "exciting" happen at the end of the dial.

Posted by: BP on 9/21/2015 9:12:07 AM
the reason it's the worst clix ever is simple. It costs 500 points and is basically a support character. You can only utilize it in massive games to carry and defend. Even its role as support isn't guaranteed because it has no way to defend against outwit. No trait, no power cosmic? For a 500 point support piece? That's why it's terrible and looks ok on the shelf.

Posted by: Jeremy Blizard on 9/21/2015 9:05:14 AM
Well for starters, a 500 point piece ever dropping to 14 defense, especially at its time, is pretty appalling.

Posted by: Lord Logan on 9/21/2015 8:51:39 AM
90% of the text of the trait is utterly redundant. There's no need for the Regen/Poison clicks mid-dial, and this makes no sense being there, at all. This can be done much better, and likely for the same point cost, in modern day conventions like Improved Movement, vehicle rules, etc.

Posted by: MESCH on 9/21/2015 8:25:58 AM
The only thing that's considered about this clix being the worst clix ever is that it became the first news of the day rather it being the Monday meme's, oh and the fact that this character takes so much points to be a punching bag to 12 possible adjacent characters.

Posted by: Red Skull obvious pawn. on 9/21/2015 8:22:19 AM
Hey it is all in the name "ASSGUARDIAN" pun intended hehe

Posted by: DM CROW on 9/21/2015 8:22:13 AM
Only really bad thing I see is the High point value for values that dip so low.
