Your Comments:
David Hawk - Yes it does effect humans for long term exposure but the game is not set up to deal with long term exposure. The piont I was trying to make is that Kryptonite Man should not be effected by other Kryptonite. Lucy Lane - Superwoman states she "dons a mystical suit which imbues her with many of the powers possessed by Kryptonians like Superman or Supergirl but none of the weaknesses". In her Bio on the back of the character card states that she should not be effected by any of the Kryptonites as well as most humans are not effected to short term radiation.

Yes, Sir Chri1stopher green kryptonite does affect humans. They suffer radiation posioning. In the comics, it killed Lex Luthor.

yes all kryptonite are in the op kits, ive seen afew green ones in boosters aswell

Does anyone know if these are in the OP, because I pulled a chunk of Green K from a booster yesterday. I just don't want to have to search like crazy.

Inquiry - If a character of 75 points or less uses the X-Kryptonite and flys out of the 4 range what happens. Do they take damage from falling from the sky as if the fell off a building. The way itis worded is that they have the ability as long as they are with in 4 squares once they are out of the range they do not have the power. It would be different if it stated that the character starts with in 4. This also could be fun if a grounded character using Charge comes with in 4 of the object the gain Flight. This has potental for a character gaining and loosing Flight through out the movement. Since flyers ignore other characters for movement it could be the same as leap climb and charge together

Woah! "Wait a minute; you mean to tell me that I can have a 75 point or less character with super strength just pick this up and fly around? Is this comic book accurate?"

I don't recall the Wasp being able to pick up the Hulk and fly him into combat, But Heroclix allows this.

Warmag ..."I'm a**uming the green one's effects had to be reduced for balance of power in the game; otherwise, Superman would easily be defeated." Why should it be reduced? They already stripped away Superman vulnerability to Magic Based attacks.

Superman and all Kryptonians are vulnerable to Kryptonite and magic. I understand it would be hard with the game mechanics to define what constitutes a magical attack. In the comics, a fight of Dr. Strange against Superman if Dr. Strange incapacitates Super with magic. Superman could not break out of them using Super Strength due to their magic nature as long as Dr. Strange can concentrate on the spell.
I fail to see why Green Kryptonite would have to be anything different than Kryptonians loose all powers in a 4” radius. So it can help neutralize Kryptonians. It also not for free. If I want to spend the points on my team for the chance to neutralize superman that should be my choice. It the object would only effected Kryptonians, I may be shorting my team points.

These Suck. How does the radiation from Kryptonite effect Humans. Answer is ..... It does not. All of these should have that they only effect characters with the Kryptonian keyword or have the name of Superman or Krypto.

i want all of them :)

Quick Wikipedia search confirms all these are comic book related and the powers are actually pretty accurate (though I'm not positive which version of Red K that's supposed to be). I'm looking very much forward to Green K!

woah!, I do remember reading a synopsis of all the Kryptonites and their effects years ago and there was one that granted Lois Lane superpowers when she picked it up. I vaguely remember one of them granting her the ability to fly. These variations of Kryptonite are comic accurate. However, I'm assuming the green one's effects had to be reduced for balance of power in the game; otherwise, Superman would easily be defeated.

I always kinda thought "SuperFriends" was being silly with all of these other kinds of Krytonite, but Jewel Kryptonite? X-Ray Kryptonite? White Kryptonite? Nifty game effects, but I never even heard of these.

Disclaimer: I am certainly NOT fully versed in all the Superman mythos.

Posted by: Ianator on 9/26/2011 1:31:08 PM
Oh, I'm going to enjoy Mind controlling a figure to pick up the Gold K and then get stuck with it.
