04-29-2014: Storm comes onto the scene at a 150 points. Is she really worth all those points? I'd say yes, especially with a range of 7, two ranged attacks and Energy Explosion!
Storm also comes with Leadership, Force Blast, Pulse Wave, Energy Shield/Deflection, Super Senses, Perplex, Willpower, Flight, and Ranged Combat Expert.
02-07-2014: Pyro comes to us at just 90 points with a standard 6 clicks of life. He's a Brotherhood member, which gives him free movement, but what's really exciting about this piece is his double ranged attack with Energy Explosion (not to mention his awesome Flame Construct)!
Pyro also comes with Running Shot, Sidestep, Enhancement, and Perplex. His flame construct comes with Charge, Poison, and Exploit Weakness.
And now let's compare him to the Giant-Size-X-men version...
From wikipedia:
"The storyline alternates between present day, in which the X-Men fight Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and a future timeline caused by the X-Men's failure to prevent the Brotherhood from assassinating Senator Robert Kelly. In this future universe, Sentinels rule the United States, and mutants live in internment camps. The present-day X-Men are forewarned of the possible future by a future version of their teammate Kitty Pryde, whose mind traveled back in time and possessed her younger self to warn the X-Men. She succeeds in her mission and returns to the future, but despite her success, the future timeline still exists as an alternative timeline rather than as the actual future."
