@ChronoFett: +3. The rule of 3 always makes it +3 max. Even if the total mods go above +3, anything beyond +3 is ignored.

Somebody help with a question on the "Rule of 3". I look at this Champion and I am amazed. I see 5 damage with Super Strength which means he could hit with a heavy object. Then +1 Damage with the Power Gem and the potential to be perplexed. So, just how high could his damage go?

Um... but Battle Fury = no range attacks.

I like the Champion's dial. If you transpose the charge clicks with the Flurry clicks and reversed the dial you almost get the perfect Hulk dial.

Champion - Awsome piece for a "no range" Tournament. In a 300 pts build try him and a gem and cheap feat with AP. The 5 clicks of Imperve is huge. The Battle Fury is nice to prevent Mind Control. Only downside I see is the 0 range. but it fits with the character. Of course there is throwing objects.

once a mouth your venue should hold a event for this. Your venue should hold on to the score sheet with the names, and pts. that you played.
this way people just cant show up to just any venue to play and to take the prize, you need at least 18 pts. to fight in the 8th and last round for the figures .As fare as the figures go I do beleave that there will be at least 3 figs. to hand out , first, secound, fellow ship. Hope this helps

to win it, you have to attend 1 pt./ 1 pt. for loss of a game/ 2 pts. for per win/ 3 pts. for EVENT WIN. You need atleast 18 pts. just to play in the eight round which is in Aug. 2012

Charles,

You could show up to participate, but if you blatantly let people kill you off you'd be unlikely to win the (possible) Fellowship award LE figures. You will get any item that is described above as a Participation Prize.

That doesn't mean they are impossible to get. Some venues receive prize support but don't get enough players to actually run the tournament, and some winners sell their figures, so it is possible to find these prizes on the secondary market (eBay, etc.)

Of course, the price of those prizes is subject to rise pretty quick. I battled for Galactus a few years back and came in second and I STILL haven't gotten around to buying the big guy.

Interesting... Nifty Marvel event... looks cool, and a campaign-style series of events is cool. I'm with Avarice: I doubt I'm 'good' enough to compete to win.

Will the DC side stand and be counted? A Flashpoint event, perhaps?

@Charles , my understanding is they are prizes so you would have to win in a match or win fellowship for the actual pieces . The Gems I think are the only participation prizes . I feel your pain I'm more of a collector myself . I play and have fun playing , but play nowhere near good enough to win .

as a collector of heroclix and not a player, I find this very confusing. I am a HUGE infinity gauntlet fan and would LOVE to own this heroclix figure, but as I understand it, are they selling these as pieces? And the only way to purchase one is that you have to participate in the battle? If so, I'll "participate" by purchasing one and letting everyone kill me just so I can own a piece of the gauntlet. Can you tell me if I understand this correctly or am I way off? Thanks.
