And finally, we've got the wide image shot from the New York Toy Fair (2010), thanks again to Figures.com and their wonderful coverage. Two interesting things in this picture...

(1) It looks like they're going to bring Halo ActionClix back, which is a good idea with HALO REACH around the corner on Xbox 360

(2) Look at the Iron Man Mega Battle Pack -- is that a colored arch-enemy base I see?

Does anyone know what dial/version the Legacy Joker is?

Posted by: Owlman166 on 12/27/2010 8:53:26 AM
@ Alex
it apears to have a yellow ring on its dial and yeah it will be in a battle pack along with supernova Thor and the Golden armour wars 1st appearence Ironman, but i dont think its been released yet.

as it stands i'd assume it will be the rookie as the rookie was avengers affiliated and considering the rest of the pack it looks like a 1st appearence avengers set

Posted by: Ste on 9/23/2010 8:23:11 PM
i have a question the hulk figure pictured from infinity challenge is that in one of the battle packs and if so which? the other question is whether its dial is the rookie experienced or vet version im assuming rookie any help is appreciated i only want to kno cuz im doing a hulk conversion and wonder if its worht using my old hulk dial from infinity challenge

Posted by: alex on 8/30/2010 5:12:07 PM
Ok to answer my own question and for anybody else still curious, the dials are the old ones, iron monger is still a big pile of poop, but at least the Crimson dynamo is the LE Grenady whats-his-face.
the Map the set comes with is really poor! its about 10x10 squares of open road with an over turned bus as blocking terrain in the middle of it... was very gutted by that as i was hoping for a reprinted Lab map from armour wars, boo-hiss.
Still its a great chance to get hold of some of the older LEs and Uniques, just a shame i had all but one of them

Posted by: Ste on 8/5/2010 7:30:36 PM
The first Crimson Dynamo was also the creator of the armor: Professor Anton Vanko.

Posted by: jack on 6/27/2010 8:54:41 PM
Whats the word on those Iron Man packs??? are they just reprints or have they got new and improved dials??? really hope they are new as the old iron monger is next to useless, over a hundred points for someone that is AV 7 or below for more than half his dial is redundent the way the game is today, and i'd really like a playable version of him to make my evil armour team complete.
Im not saying i wouldnt get it if they were just reprints, i'd get it just for the map and the updated marvel PAC as well as a hopefully better than rookie dynamo (as i only have him at rookie) but would be left feelin a little let down on the whole. i Just hope its more inline with the FCBD minis than the old school outdated dials

Posted by: Ste on 6/24/2010 11:01:53 PM
A suggestion...
Maybe they can look into Heroesclix from the tv show??

Posted by: Ellraiser on 5/19/2010 9:19:53 AM
The Brick figure is NOT sent to stores. Only the HOT figure was sent to stores. To receive the BRICK figure for BATB, you have to send in 10 booster box tops, print out the coupon, and also send in a receipt and pay for shipping handling.

Posted by: The Le on 5/14/2010 6:16:52 PM
I pre-ordered 20 cases of brave and bold,I received neither the buy it by thebrick figure or the nekron or black hand I own T and T Gaming in Chesterton In.It would be nice if this could be corrected.I have also pre-ordered 20 cases of web of spiderman

I would like to see Horrorclix come back since NECA has the rights to a lot of the horror movies out there. I would love to see a Hellraiser starter set like the Jason vs Freddy one from years gone by. Please bring back Horrorclix...you have new sculpts of Freddy and Jason and now could throw the Gremlins into it with very little effort. Thanks for doing a great job with Heroclix!

Posted by: Ellraiser on 4/4/2010 11:30:17 AM
@The Le, you know that Brightest Day is scheduled to come out in October, any little hints as to what may be in it?

Posted by: geminimerc on 4/1/2010 1:43:55 AM
I hope they won't be stupid enough to keep the dials for those Clobberin Time figures.

Posted by: Batarang96 on 3/31/2010 9:46:37 PM
Thanks The Le, I've been hoping to see the itinerary for what's to come. Appreciate the schedule list. I guess I'll be spending more time at work this year... Overtime here I come!

I want to see some packs with just "Minions" (i.e. Skrulls, Brood, Fire Demons, etc.). They could stuff like 6-8 of them in a package and give players a easier avenue for building armies of "Henchpeople" (Would Henchpeople be the politically correct term?)

Posted by: thearthandyman on 2/25/2010 11:13:28 AM
I like the whole thing. after all , us vets get the bricks. this is what we need. newbies, who will then start coming to tournies. hc's will have a breath of new life making it better for us vets.

First of all I want to say what a wonderful job wizkids are doing ! i think they are going in the right direction , but it seems to me that they are just tacking the old sculps off there flight base and doing them on the standard base as they now are doing ! I hope and prey that they do give them new powers and a card to go with them , other wise I do not need to buy them . They also need to use the super rares and the chase figs too , even if they are on a diferant base and all new powers , the sculpt and powers to go with the fig is all a person needs to play .

Posted by: Sentry 101 on 2/17/2010 4:27:46 PM
Is that Spider woman the chase one in the first battle pack from left to right?

Posted by: fliman on 2/17/2010 2:25:46 PM
Awesome! Heroclix world is my #1 place to go for all things Heroclix! More power to you!

Posted by: Ianator on 2/17/2010 2:19:49 AM
Looking Good!! NECA just keeps on going with the positive clix vibe. Keep it Up NECA!!!

Posted by: rwint1968 on 2/16/2010 2:55:49 PM

*sobs quietly in his hands* I was so looking forwards to going up to someone and saying Galctus Caa-Kaa.... *sob* Just leave me alone in my depression.

Well, I'm disappointed that the Gremlins and JvF packs aren't Horrorclix. I may pass on them, depending on whats in them. i didn't think they'd be HC compatible but thought they were HrC packs. The DC figs could be Batman Alpha reprints. Reprints of reprints. :-P

Posted by: Larry on 2/16/2010 12:21:58 PM
I would rather see new molds then old figs released again and pay such high prices. I guess the Batman Alpha was such a win cost wise for WK that now they are going full spread. Also opens the whole can of worms of people mixing up sets due to sculpt use and after market confusion. The hide in Shadows Batman was confused this past weekend with the same sculpt from Batman Alpha. The Unique figure may be going to the wayside I guess.

Posted by: scourge101 on 2/16/2010 10:29:09 AM
I really hope they took the time to give the older characters new stats on their dials and maybe a special power or two. I will buy all of them if they do, if its a true reprint with a card i'll have to pass since I already have most. Fingers are crossed for a sweet Colossus dial with that sculpt.

Posted by: battlinbichon on 2/16/2010 9:46:15 AM
I think if they really want to get fans excited they should start making chase figures more available to everyone to even out game play.

Posted by: RichT on 2/16/2010 7:59:21 AM
While I see this as good for new comers , what is it going to do to collector value of the originals ? I spent a lot of time energy and money on filling out my sets , and remember VERY WELL what happened to the value of my Fin Fang Foom that I payed $200 to get when they released {purple pants } reprint . Now I can get my hands on Foom for $50-$60 .

Posted by: Andrew on 2/16/2010 7:56:06 AM
If its compatiable with heroclix. Im all over it.

Posted by: Johnwhite-toledo on 2/16/2010 7:24:42 AM
They should make nintendoclix. Have like Mario the super Mario and diffrent versions of kirby. That would be so cool

Posted by: Randy on 2/16/2010 2:32:50 AM
If you look at the computer generated ad for the Mega Battle Pack, there are no AE bases. I think they just took the original clix and threw them in a package to show off at the fair.

Posted by: Bennett on 2/16/2010 2:14:34 AM
Meh. Color me underwhelmed.

Posted by: Siwelkire on 2/16/2010 1:14:45 AM
Great. Hope they also bring back Aliens and Predators sets from AVP. I would love to get those too.

Posted by: Kana78 on 2/16/2010 1:03:28 AM
That's so cool! Gremlins is my favorite movie! When it's will coming out? I want to buy it, ha....
