Your Comments:
I am interested in purchasing a single Nova Class Starship model to place on the gameboard. (I don't need an entire set of ships I don't intend to use.)

Do you sell individual ships?

In addition, do you sell the Valkyrie Starfighter model from Star Trek: Invasion! ? I'd be interested in a squadron of those models!

Romulan War Eagle??? Please!!!

Posted by: LEE AGEE on 12/1/2012 9:47:41 AM
I think it is so funny that people cannot get past a name. If a game effect means that a figure in a new space game can increase their ability to attack at close range, i.e., in the square next to another ship on the space map, and they call that "Fire point defense cannon!" but on the old system card it says Super Strength, why can't they accept that the game effect is the same. Or Cloaking Device making it so that a ship is harder to hit. I mean come on, they provided cards with in-game fluff names. Why is this an issue for you? Because you want it to be an issue. Get over yourselves.

Posted by: Girochen on 3/4/2012 2:13:51 AM
Sorry, I meant no rares, 2 uncommons, and 5 commons.

Posted by: Klingon Admiral on 2/14/2012 5:05:16 PM
I also got a Pegasus ship with a Sutherland card, so it wasn't just you. Overall, I'm very happy with the game. Love the Klingon ships! If you buy boosters, buy sealed bricks of 12. I did that and got 2 rares, 4 uncommons, and 6 commons. Then I bought 7 loose boosters and got no rares, 2 uncommons, and 3 commons. That purchase sucked.

Posted by: Klingon Admiral on 2/14/2012 3:30:16 PM
Well I picked up my starter and a 12 pack brick over the weekend. I think I got some decent pulls but unfortunately The Pegasus ship came with a Sutherland card and my Enterprise-A from the starter came with a Reliant card! Anyone else get mixed up cards for their pulls? Other than that I think if you buy a brick you get 6 Klingon & 6 Federation ships for the brick distribution so a case will probably get you 12 ships for each faction (not counting Khan's Reliant or the HMS Bounty if you pull those).

Thanks for clarifying The Le :-D

Posted by: Ianator on 2/7/2012 6:38:50 PM
I got the chance to play the starter set last weekend and it a fun game(especially the nebula map). I'll probably end up picking up this stuff in small amounts due to the price of the single boosters though but all in all the ships look good and anyone versed in playing Heroclix can play this game right out of the box. Any doubles I get I'll probably pop onto the Fleet Captain versions so that I can play that game with fully painted figures.

Posted by: phep on 2/7/2012 1:12:06 AM
@ 3 of 9 go home. Your a whiny bitch who can't get around a single idea. IT'S A DIFFERENT GAME YOU STUPID DIM WIT! Why can't you just use your imagination the way the rest of us do! So sick of all the morons and their IDEAS, MAKE YOUR OWN F$&@ing game and go play it with your mom!

Posted by: C Thomas on 2/6/2012 12:20:44 PM
@Ianator: Yes, because this form is actually on the last page of the current GTM magazine -- a magazine that you would normally pick up at your retailer.

Posted by: The Le on 2/6/2012 7:35:05 AM
@ The Le - Question (raising hand) - The form was asking for a Retailer Name, Add., and phone number? Would this be the local store we buy heroclix from?

Thank you.

Posted by: Ianator on 2/6/2012 1:41:10 AM
Damn, as Always U.S. and Canada Only. Sadly we european are nothing for Neca.

@Stainawarjar, that is correct. You have to print out the PDF form and mail it in.

I don't see any form other than the pdf...

Gameing.
The maps are cool too
Way to go wizkids you got this right by me.

Posted by: klixkiller on 2/4/2012 9:07:33 PM
Yea, and I just saw that some ships have Super Strength, Support, and Flurry. THAT'S SO STUPID. STAR TREK SPACE COMBAT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. DESIGN FAIL FAIL FAIL

Posted by: 3 of 9 on 1/7/2012 1:13:56 PM
Looks good but I'm not so happy that it's standard HC rules. This is Trek, ships don't fly at one another to get into close combat. Some of these ships have super strength for some stupid reason. WK should have come up with a whole new set of abilities rather than rehash the old HC ones.

I also hope that future sets will bring in other races (Romulan, Cardassian, Ferengi, Suliban, Orion...etc). I can also see a Borg cube being the giant size figure for the game.

Posted by: CDG on 1/7/2012 7:14:04 AM
I, for one, am terribly excited for this. WIN WIZKIDS EPIC WIN!!

Posted by: 3 of 9 sux on 1/5/2012 8:42:44 PM
Just forget heroclix, this is Star trek clix, forget super senses, poison, flurry and so on you must focus with cloacking device instead of super senses,I will play in a map that is going to be space, 1 square to the adjacent could be a lot of kms or miles if you prefer,I have seen in many star trek movies combat at very close range,in my opinion they could have improved with mechwarrior bases to use the heat dial to make diferent mechanic but I like the way is going to be.
Neca boldly going where no one else have been!

Posted by: Blacktorn on 12/30/2011 6:14:23 PM
Blacktorn, that just makes it worse. Make NO SENSE that these KLI ships have Flurry, Super Strength, and Poison. From a space combat aspect, this is stupid because space battles aren't about getting as close as possible -- and Star Trek ships aren't designed to be close combat intensive. These are lame superhero dials, these aren't starship dials, and these sure as hell ain't Star Trek Dials. FAIL WIZKIDS. EPIC FAIL.

Posted by: 3 of 9 on 12/30/2011 7:25:41 AM
3 of 9, How can you tell every federation ship have reduction, we have seen 3 so far and these 3 does not have reduction all the time.

Posted by: Blacktorn on 12/30/2011 5:43:08 AM
The Wanderer, y not a separate game mechanic for boarding parties? Poison is STUPID because Federation ships have damage reduction. Klingon Poison is good against other Klingon ships. That's DUMB. These aren't starship dials at all, and def not Star Trek dials. FAIL WIZKIDS. EPIC FAIL.

Posted by: 3 of 9 on 12/27/2011 3:52:10 PM
Ever heard of Boarding Partys Klingon troops beaming over through weakened shields to wreak havoc kill crewmembers and blast vital systems at least thats how this poison works!

Posted by: The Wanderer on 12/27/2011 3:35:47 PM
IKS Maht-H'A - A ship with Poison? Not seeing the logic on this power. if this is to be a ship to ship combat. How would pioson be used in space with no atmisphere?

Posted by: Sir Christopher on 12/27/2011 9:45:43 AM
Compatability in this case is lame. However, Borgy's got it going on. Wizkids is tapping into two markets. No honest red-blooded male would be morally capable of putting a mugger against the enterprise. however, for all you half-breed quasi-humans, the option is on the table. This would be really cool in just ship vs ship conflicts.

Now imagine that they made brainiac's skull ship, the justice league watchtower, etc. This suddenly becomes awesome.

Posted by: Blake B on 12/20/2011 10:10:11 AM
The funny thing about these starships is that none of them have the vehicle keyword. ;-)

Posted by: phep on 12/19/2011 7:57:22 PM
If they are Transporters can they carry more then one figure?

Seems kinda silly if the huge Enterprise can only carry one figure.

Oh...?

And within the actual set who are they going to be able to Transport?

Posted by: Seeker Muadib on 12/19/2011 6:40:19 PM
I am so excited about this, Cant wait to put my hands on them.

Posted by: Blacktorn on 12/19/2011 5:58:52 PM
Ok I am actually thrilled for this to come out. I have no issue with this being Heroclix based in rules. Not thrilled with it being 100% compatible with Heroclix though.

Can Professor X mind control the Enterprise?

Posted by: SeekerMuadib on 12/19/2011 3:16:52 PM
Not really a fan of the StarTrexClixs. Wizkids Designers must not have watched the show too often. The Klingon ships should have Cloaking ability(stealth) That can’t be used with Runshot. They have to uncloak to fire. This would allow for Prob to be used. It would also be nice that after they launched an attack they can not use stealth the next round.
I also would have liked for the Photon Torpedoes to do at least one damage(AKA: Built in AP)
Don’t agree with the Rhode Island not having and Photon Torpedoes. It’s not like they are a research vessel or transport. Confused by Super Senses as being labeled a Cloaking Device? Warrior Intuition would have been a better Name for the power.
However I do like the Clear peg to make the ships seem to be float instead of having them suspended by what could be a nebula they are passing by.
To be honest I’m not sure that I would even play the pieces, if I decide to get them. Like usual, they sway too far from what I feel the ship should have as powers. Not seeing where a straight up fight the federation ships stand a chance. The Adominal and Stealth is too much of a power swing in the Klingons favor. I do like the irony of a Klingon ship hiding behind a Manhole cover (Light Object)

Posted by: Sir Christopher on 12/19/2011 3:04:48 PM
I can see it now. OOTS, hiding in the Asteroid Belt, outwits the Enterprise A's ESD, then the Witch King of Angmar comes charging out from behind the Black Hole (outdoor blocking) that he was hiding behind to crit hit for 5. The Enterprise A crew begins saucer separation protocols.

It will be epic if I can get beyond all the sarcasm.

It's all coming back to me... I do remember being in a "fugue" state of mind and thus remembering that I have amnesia and not remembering comments I posted below. Although the "fugue" state of mind eludes me in my vocabulary as I have never used this terminology before. It must have been my subconscious reminding me of it. Yes indeed, thus concludes my hypothesis... That anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.

Posted by: Ianator on 12/10/2011 3:23:34 AM
@bobby, I see an upgraded Constitution-class ship (probably The Enterprise A), A Nova-class science vessel (USS Equinox from Voyager?), a Klingon Vor'cha-class attack cruiser and Klingon Bird of Prey.

Posted by: Gyan on 12/7/2011 1:44:53 AM
What ships are those in the starter. Two Federation ones? A Klingon? And a something...

Posted by: bobby on 12/7/2011 12:13:58 AM
Finally! A HeroClix release that I don't want - my bank account will be thrilled!

Even using my mighty ability to rationalize, I can only surmise that the Star Trek Enterprise entered the Microverse in pursuit of Graviton, and Bug .... naaahhhhh.

Posted by: Kragnorak on 12/6/2011 2:10:37 PM
Maybe somebody was just typing my name when posting a silly comment.

cheese

Maybe I am on the verge of entering a fugue state - oh no - cheese help me!

Posted by: lanator on 12/6/2011 2:07:24 PM
Must have been Sleep typing... I do not recall commenting the word cheese below... 8:43am? Hmmmm.

Posted by: Ianator on 12/6/2011 2:17:13 AM
cheese

Posted by: lanator on 11/24/2011 8:43:26 AM
Not really on baord with 100% compatable with Heroclix. Just due to the size of these ships as compared to heroclix characters. The only tournament build that I can see them making sense in is an invasion of the Federation/Klingons into a universe of gaint superheros.

I guess I should not pass judgement until the dials are released. I know Horrorclix was compatable with Heroclix but I've only seen the hellboy figuares used in a Tournanment and that is very rare(usually in a Halloween themed event)

Posted by: Sir Christopher on 11/2/2011 1:49:29 PM
sick

Posted by: bp29 on 11/2/2011 5:47:12 AM
i am a big fan of star treck and ever since i heard that they werew making it into heroclix i love the idea i cant wait to get down to my shop and buy them

Posted by: calvin on 10/30/2011 2:22:50 AM
They need to make the PRICE compatible. It's just collecting dust at the 3 comic/gameshops I frequent. Haven't heard of anyone popping on it in my area. Maybe they could bundle it with something else.

Posted by: BartTR on 10/27/2011 12:49:53 PM
Speaking for the contingent of gamers that enjoy the "HeroScape" aspect of their WizKids choices (currently our dining room table is midway through an 800-character mega-battle of Good vs. Evil that includes Dr. Manhattan, Fin Fang Foom, Street Fighter, Aliens, Predators, etc.)...

My biggest problem is also the scale of the ships. I would have a much easier time driving a Warthog onto the battlefield to run over a few hobbits than I would looking at a teeny Enterprise.

I do agree with Hair10 that the ship combat should have been different. Strafing, shields, boarding actions, ramming speed, all that kind of stuff. Each ship should have different dials to represent the different parts like that gigantic Halo Scarab they made. It is hard to see how the regular rules will cover the ship combat, although they are fine for the Star Trek characters.

Posted by: Kragnorak on 10/27/2011 9:44:05 AM
I like that the compatibility is real for crazy home games, but i dont like the idea of letting figures of LoTR in heroclix tourneys, or Street Fighter Halo GOW or whatever they cook in their kitchen.
I think its just too much.

Posted by: as_bat on 10/27/2011 8:08:55 AM
I like the idea of playing a Star Trek ship combat game with rules I already know. But, I don't know if I like the idea of them being completely HC compatible either. So many of the rules and powers don't really lend themselves to a ship combat game and there are quite a few that aren't represented that are needed.

Also, I'm not sold on the scale. I would love to see them on colossal sized bases (2" x 2") and would be willing to pay more for bigger models.

WK is throwing every license that the have to the HC wall and seeing what sticks. I can't help but think that at some point it's going to backfire on them, either due to over saturation, stretching themselves too thin, poor license choices, or someting. It just reminds me of WK of old where they cranked out game after game after game.

Posted by: hair10 on 10/27/2011 8:00:02 AM
Ships for ship to ship battles and Star Trek figures for standard heroclix fighting. Ship to ship battles can be done on maps of the stars. And the figures can battle on maps based on the in sides of certain ships and certain planet backgrounds. The guys in the red shirts will be the first ones to get killed. What Star Trek figures would I want most? Hmmmmm.

Posted by: Cassidy on 10/26/2011 11:31:01 PM
I hope Wizkids is listening... I agree w/ Blake B. I admire the ships and would love them to be incorporated in Heroclix w/ the characters (compatible of course) but this is getting to be way out of proportion. The concept is there, Wizkids just has to present it the right way. Don't try to re-invent the wheel. Keep it in scale and keep adding improvements to the game, not massacre it! I'm not saying this is going to fail. All I'm saying is I expected differently. Truly Wizkids is boldly going where no man has gone before.

Posted by: Ianator on 10/26/2011 11:17:12 PM
This looks like a simple marketing strategy. Wizkids has finally recognized that uncompatable clix alienates their fanbase. So they're throwing the dog a bone, saying its compatible but not really. And I don't blame them for not wanting to get to close with these two products. I don't want batman fighting the enterprise! What they should do is reinvint the ship idea as more of a battlefield condition / collossel figure (this idea can be developed) and make the treky characters into 100% compatable clix (actually compatable)

Posted by: Blake B on 10/26/2011 6:43:30 PM
