07-26-2012: The fine folks at ICV2 announced Batman Streets of Gotham earlier today, and it's looking FAB!

Here's what we know so far...

•Over 40 figures
•Will have Catwoman, Birds of Prey, the Outsiders, and "a team never before sen in a DC HeroClix set"
•Available as a stand alone countertop display
•will have single-figure boosters and larger 3-figure team packs

11-21-2012: Yesterday we got Fire and today we've got ICE! Running Shot and Incapacitate is one of the best compatible combinations in the game, and with 2 ranged attacks to boot! Ice is looking FAB!

HeroClix Streets of Gotham Batman ICE DIAL

11-20-2012: The Streets of Fire set is rockin'! Today we've got the green FIRE herself! Check out all that Enhancement and Ranged Combat Expert! We also very much like the early combo of Running Shot and Energy Explosion!

Your Comments:
annoyinglizardvoice and ChronoFett are correct about The Question. It's a gimmicky thing like Death from GG. You only need one of her to play. The sculpt type is irrelevant.

A Robin that has permanent perplex and pseudo leap/climb???? Awesome!!!

The only things that keeps him from being perfect is that he's missing the Teen Titans keyword and having only 5 clicks of life for 100pts. Otherwise having a potential AV 11,DMG 4, or DV of 18 if perplexing himself out of the starting gate is great.

Just seen the fast-forces of this set and I must say my opinion of it is looking up a lot (well, apart from the fact that Hawk and Dove are in it :) ).
With regards to the Question miniature, I expect it will be the same deal as the Death min from the Guardians of the Galaxy set.
I wonder if the batcycle or whatever the bike is will be part of a team-pack or just a normal pack.

I like the old The Question from Arkham Asylum set

Posted by: Poy on 12/9/2012 9:18:01 AM
@ Mantis Warrior...

Am I understanding you correctly? You believe you have to have both sculpts to do the alter-ego mechanic for Renee/Question? This is not the case.
To answer your question, yes. You can use one figure for both halves of the dial. Obviously all of the same "alter-ego" rules apply, but you can change into your alter ego regardless of the sculpt.

The only REAL reason you need both sculpts is because you think it would look cool to swap them out while playing.

To quote the front page: "Renee Montoya and The Question are all the same figure, but some of the figures will possess the Renee head sculpt while others will possess The Question head sculpt. Either way, both figures play exactly the same (with double-sided cards and dual-dials)."

Posted by: ChronoFett on 12/7/2012 9:05:55 AM
It's a shame the question doesn't come with a removable head. Being your own alter-ego would save carring 2 figures in my takeaway tub! As both 15a and 15b are uncommon they shouldn't be too hard to get hold of and i'd certainly rather have 2 playable figures in one 'slot' but duplicates of one or the other are going to feel even MORE frustrating than usual.
I presume you can't use both halves of the dial on the one figure, and change into your alter-ego regardless of sculpt. The dial seems to have both names but i'm not sure if the pictures on the cards effectively 'rule' which figure you can use. This may need an FAQ the spirit of the rule seems clearish but not the letter.

Good to know that the Origional Huntress finally has a figure now. and Trulip, just so you know not only is Batman of Earth 2 her father but Catwoman of that earth is also her mother.

Posted by: Grim on 11/30/2012 5:32:53 PM
@Grim and ChronoFett: Just because of your discussion, I don't know enough about her myself, WizKids put Helena Wayne as the Real Name on the character card.

Posted by: Trulip on 11/30/2012 5:03:43 PM
Previous post was mine, just put '@ Chronofett' in the wrong space

Posted by: Grim on 11/29/2012 6:01:56 PM
Helena Wayne was the origional Huntress in the years before Crisis on Infinite Earths. she was teh Daughter of Batman from Earth 2 and art of the JSA back then. when CoiE erased the Multiverse she got rewritten with a new origion and alterego got changed to Bertenili. now Wayne is back as part of the new Earth 2 (though not the same as the origional)

Posted by: @ ChronoFett on 11/29/2012 6:00:20 PM
@Grim

Wasn't Helena Wayne just an Elsewords (alternate Earth) storyline? Wasn't she the Huntress from the "Birds of Prey" TV show that failed? haha. I think, for the most part, they are going to stick with the Helena Bertinelli, main Earth continuity. It's not like a lot of Huntress figures have come out in the last few years.

But you never know. They come out with so much stuff nowadays, maybe it will come randomly some day.

Posted by: ChronoFett on 11/29/2012 9:18:38 AM
how is that Motorcycle going to work with Huntress (or any character for that matter)?
Also when are we going to get a Helena Wayne Huntress? thisone looks like the other one,

Posted by: Grim on 11/29/2012 6:54:41 AM
40 figs CTD... this set is almost a full set. Just throw in some more Batman/Green Arrow/Street villains. This set can be a better full set than Batman.

Posted by: JLDark9 on 11/25/2012 2:24:15 AM
@The Le: That's Energy Shield/Deflection on Fire, not Enhancement.

Posted by: PassingBy on 11/21/2012 7:38:33 PM
what is supes trait?

Posted by: morphdan on 11/16/2012 6:38:38 AM
Love the calendar man. It will either drive you or your opponent mad but hopefully in a friendly way!
@Annoyinglizardvoice At our venue with any controversial rules (for any game system) we try to agree with our opponent before the game how it will work so that we're both singing in the same choir. How the ruling goes before the game (is it winter or autumn in late November? What if it's snowing?)doesn't really matter. It only matters if you wait until you desperately need to incap someone before claiming it's winter.

Posted by: Mantis Warrior on 11/12/2012 8:47:53 AM
@ Heyman: Batman is in one of the team packs (the trinity one I think). Same sort of idea as the Shield, Hydra, etc. packs in the Avengers movie set.

Not too keen on another single min set, but glad to see so much birds of prey and a few more bat-villains.

They should have specified months on Calendar Man's powers. I can see arguments about that until it's clarified.

Posted by: annoyinglizardvoice on 11/8/2012 7:43:57 PM
Calendar Man looks like he's a LOT of FUN, IMO.

@ phep: I don't think you need to know which day the seasons begin/end, just to know which one it is presently.

Posted by: MEsch on 11/8/2012 9:36:42 AM
Good Lord!!! Now I got to know when the seasons starts and ends and keep track on what day the game is on just to play with Calendar Man??? I think Wizkids is trying to drive me insane!!! ;)

Interesting piece but I think it might be overly complicated. I hope I never pull this figure in a sealed tournament.

Posted by: phep on 11/7/2012 6:28:33 PM
For 52 points he is a pretty decent figure. I like the comic accurate attempt by Wizkids.

Your automatically getting Stealth, EE, MM, and probability control for 52 pts.

Add in the potential of the other powers and you get a pretty good piece.

Posted by: Top10 on 11/7/2012 4:43:33 PM
Calender Man seems too gimicky for my tastes.

Posted by: hyperguy152 on 11/7/2012 2:30:36 PM
Man calendar man can definatly be used to ur advantage...on the right days

Posted by: Aqua7729 on 11/7/2012 1:37:06 PM
Dove has a very interesting trait being able to use the target figure's damage value against itself. Short dial but can be potentially potent thanks to last click regeneration, starting defend/super senses, & the Batman Ally TA to keep her safe from range attacks. Plus she can taxi so I might give her a try despite the relatively high point cost for a 5 click figure.

Posted by: phep on 10/26/2012 6:29:22 PM
This version of Black Canary is pretty good for 62 pts! Batman Ally TA, Willpower for most of the dial, decent damage & defense in close combat, and an incap special power that can target multiple adjacent figures is a "WIN" in my book. Click 3 is the definitely the sweet spot for this figure!

Posted by: phep on 10/24/2012 8:25:23 PM
How come it shows Batman's rarity to be gold/ super rare?

Posted by: HeyMan on 10/21/2012 3:44:29 PM
@XStrike: I wasn't thrilled with the format then either.

Posted by: lordoracle on 10/14/2012 10:55:12 AM
@annoyinglizardvoice: the only way I see the bike being packed is if it comes in one of the 3-figure Theme Packs.

Posted by: lordoracle on 10/14/2012 10:53:25 AM
New Birds of Pray and a more up-to-date Huntress both rock. How is the bike going to fit in the smaller boosters.
Would be even happier if this was a full-sized set rather than one of those single-min sets.

Posted by: annoyinglizardvoice on 10/10/2012 8:12:34 PM
Great! Finally a new Huntress!! I love her!

When are we going to get any more info on this set??????????????????????????

Posted by: Dread on 9/18/2012 1:45:33 PM
lordoracle - It's my understanding that this is going to be distributed in the same format as The Avengers set, where there are 22 normal figures and 6 team packs.

Posted by: XStrike on 8/2/2012 8:51:49 PM
Gusto: Try Clix Addict instead. It's far superior. It's linked at the top-right of this page.

Posted by: The Le on 7/27/2012 4:31:31 PM
does anyone here read the criticalhit heroclix mag,if so please post links

Posted by: Gusto on 7/27/2012 2:29:02 PM
40 figure set in CTD format? This is CRAP!!! That is too many figures for that format.

Posted by: lordoracle on 7/27/2012 12:46:55 PM
WildC.A.T.S!!! Maybe DC can buy up Savage Dragon too and make some Heroclix for those characters

Posted by: Grifter_2099 on 7/27/2012 9:45:16 AM
I'm crossing my fingers for Red Hood and the Outlaws. If not in this set then the New 52 that is set to come out soon. Anyone know dates maybe?

Posted by: @djrobertlamont on 7/27/2012 9:36:42 AM
its not delayed, it's a different set.

Posted by: rick leo on 7/27/2012 7:52:50 AM
Now it's scheduled for December? Ugh. WK and their damn constant delays...

Posted by: hair10 on 7/27/2012 6:20:47 AM
Heroclix is breaking me. But I will be buying this I cannot stop
