Batman meh...
Villain themed thugs however, yes please, i'll eat these up by the case load just so i can play each of Batman's main rogues in a 300pt team with nothing but his henchmen as back up:)

i can now play AO Joker, Joker thug, batman joker thug & dark knight joker henchmen 1 & 2 as a 300pt insane clown posse team.

all i'm missing now are thugs with tiger skin jackets ala 60s Cat woman thugs and riddler henchmen that look like extras from a clockwork orange with green bowler hats, like in under the red hood and im happy

dont care how many Batman sets you make wiz kids, this Deathstroke fan will buy every sculpt you make of him!!!

@The Le: That's Blades/Claws/Fangs, not Flurry, on The Joker and Stealth, not Outwit, on The Joker Thug.

I agree with acv2 that Masters of the Universe would be neat! Prince Adam could AE into He-Man, Beast Man could have a special 'Monster Mind Control' like GG Mole Man, Battle-Cat and Panthor can be peanut-based transporters, generic birdmen of Stratos's race. Wow, so many possibilities.

Posted by: Ho1ocau5t on 10/21/2013 3:07:57 PM
Nice Black Mask! I like his whole "corporate crime" ideology.

Posted by: Crazypool on 10/18/2013 8:16:10 AM
What do you think of a Master of the Universe(He-Man) heroclix set? with DC comics remaking the comics, I HoPe wizkids make my wish come true.

This probably doesn't belong here, but I don't like what Wizkids has been doing lately. I mean, sure, it's good to branch out, but they've made about 20 sets this year. Some of them have been awful (*cough*Lone Ranger*cough) and some have been pretty good, but they shouldn't make so many sets in one year.

Posted by: TheSuperDude on 10/17/2013 5:52:47 AM
Whoa whoa now. Gears of War could have been amazing!! AMAZING!!! They just needed to do it right and elaborated on the figures. Gears of a War is more then worthy for a spin off set. And a lot of the big events you go to they run specific tournaments and the bigger ones that I have heard about where street fighter and gears related.

But also agreed they could do more video game related smaller sets but for the love of god they need to stop over saturating the market with Clix. I know it is doing more harm then good in some cases people just can't keep up with the purchasing of it all.

Let's get Mortaaaaal Kombaaaaat!!!!!

Posted by: Ho1ocau5t on 10/12/2013 7:56:46 PM
So far so good, this set is shaping up well.
@jake I agree, a Resident Evil set would rock.

Posted by: annoyinglizardvoice on 10/12/2013 3:48:46 PM
Firefly is a dude...

Posted by: Philip on 10/9/2013 9:35:43 PM
i agree, they need to do more video game sets. But personally i think their selection of what games get sets has been weak. Street fighter and Halo are alright, but gears of war? assassins creed? bioshock infinite? Not that they're bad sets, but those games (in my humble opinion) aren't worthy. I for one would do anything to see a Resident evil or a Mortal Kombat set.

Posted by: jake on 10/9/2013 3:09:27 PM
This is what? The fourth Batman set in two years? And the second Iron Man set this year? Just sayin'

I think this set is going to be cool. I hope they make other video game themed heroclix (They already have Street Fighter, Halo and Assassin's Creed. DOTA is going to come out soon as well).

Copperhead ssseemsss very interesssting. I wouldn't mind getting a sssnake themed asssasssin.

Posted by: Ho1ocau5t on 10/2/2013 3:43:56 PM
What ever you think about another batman set. You need to admit that batman sculpture looks way cool.

@Lantern's Light
Victory points matter in two cases.

1. If an individual game goes to time (50 minute rounds are typical) with both players still having pieces on the field, the winner is decided by the victory points.

2. At the end of the event. The winner is usually the player who wins the most games. But if that is equal, it goes by victory points. For example, in one tournament last December, as I finished my 3rd game, I began to realize I had won all 3 of my games. That rarely happens for me. I began to think I had won the tournament, but then was told another player also won all 3 games and had more victory points which made him the event winner. We both got the same prize, but he was the actual winner.

Other venues might have a policy where in this case they run a 4th (or more) rounds to eliminate the possibility of 2 players with the same number of wins, but the standard I have found is number of wins followed by victory points scored.

While I'm not too keen on the idea of another Batman set or another grav-feed set, I do love the Arkham games' character designs and think these have the potential to include some cool mins.
I look forward to seeing more.

195 points? For Deathstroke!!!??? This is almost as stupid as a 300 pt Iron Man

Posted by: white phoenix of the crown on 9/26/2013 4:17:03 PM
I see a lot of resentment about the new Batman set, but if we know one thing about WizKids since NECA...it's driven by the dollar. And bottom line, Batman is a great selling property. Add to that a new video game is coming out. I'd be more surprised if NECA didn't take advantage of this. This product should be in stores like Game Stop.

Posted by: PassingBy on 9/26/2013 2:16:22 PM
So I'm also tired of seeing the SAME characters over and over again. Like didn't we just have an Iron Man set a few months ago? Why can't Wizkids be creative? Unless there's a licensing issue then why not the Amalgam Universe as a set?? Spider-Boy, Bizarnage, Mandarinestro, Thorion, Iron Lantern, Amazon, Deadeye, the Big Question, the Green Skull, Super Soldier, Dr. Strangefate and many more. That's what I would be super interested in and I'm sure many others also.

Liking the point bonus. Liking the advanced Targeting.

Posted by: superfriend on 9/26/2013 7:15:00 AM
Oh my god... another Batman set!
The only thing more exciting than this is the upcoming Iron Man set in marvel heroclix!!!

Do Wizkids knows that there are more than 2 superheroes in the comic universe?

Posted by: Mokumomo on 9/26/2013 12:24:44 AM
Yessss! Another Batman themed set!! I'm super happy about *ANOTHER* Batman set!!! Gosh darn it!!!! Wooooooo, and I'm not even being SARCASTIC!!!!!

Posted by: Ho1ocau5t on 9/25/2013 5:18:38 PM
Huh. That Hired assassin is a very intriguing ability. If you make a team based on this, you might be able to win a game without actually defeating all the opposing characters. I was just thinking a few hours ago about how pointless the idea of victory points are, because if your both using the same points, who ever kill the entire opposing team will win. But now wizkids does this. I like it!

Posted by: Lantern's Light on 9/25/2013 2:35:14 PM
How does this work with first turn immunity?

Posted by: John white on 9/25/2013 2:25:04 PM
good heavens!... Deathstroke at 195 points!... and WizKids should just do away with the scheme of yellow=Rookie because it has obviously become meaningless, even misleading... Batman (a non-meta-human) is supposedly a Rookie at 140 points?!?...

Posted by: MikeInMKE on 9/25/2013 2:10:03 PM
*sigh of relief* - Whew, I was afraid that there weren't enough Batmen in modern age games!
