Robin's always been kind of a joke over the years; well, let's be honest, all sidekicks are have been jokes in the comic book world. Yet Robin's been the brunt of most sidekick conversations. This is partly due to his ridiculous short-shorts costume, and probably because he's been around longer any sidekick that I'm aware of. (I wouldn't call Jimmy Olsen a sidekick).

There's been a few people to don the Robin costume over the years, but today we're honoring the first and best one of all: Dick Grayson.

One of the best things they ever did was turn him into a Nightwing, a very capable superhero (and excellent HeroClix figure to boot). The only thing I've never figured out is how he left the Robin mantle behind. A friend told me that he quit being Robin, while another friend swears Dick was fired by Batman. Which is it?

Regardless, we've found a great old fan trailer for the fictional Grayson movie. It's well done and has a lot of great cameos... even Hal Jordan pops up! Enjoy!
