Man, finally I get to see Gandalf the White, but now, even though he has all the power I would want him to have, he seems overpriced to field with any allies. Still, he is force to reckon with which make me happy :)

@Superturtle12: I know you mentioned OP kits for them, but what more event play do you want for them beyond an OP Kit? WizKids already does Indy events at the cons they attend. And any store can hold an Indy event any time it wants to. I think the problem there is more that the demand for an Indy event on the local level just isn't there in most places.

I understand your logic, but I am getting really bored of the same heroes being remade over and over again. These Indy sets have given Heroclix a wonderful opportunity to do something unique, but they are just making sets for collector purposes/profit. And by Indy sets being weak, Wizkids is making all these figures obsolete for competitive play. The only way to play them is within other indy sets. The game is losing what it used to stand for by making sets like LOTR, Lone Ranger, etc. I am happy they exist, but I have yet to see anyone play indy sets at any of my venues.
What could Wizkids do to make these Indy sets more relevant? Maybe make more OP kits and event plays for them?

If they made colossal LOTR figures and you had to pay the same price for one as you do a team-base, would you pay?

I for one would much rather have a Tree-beard then any team-base.

Well these clix are weaker than Marvel/DC cause lets face it, a guy with a sword wouldn't stand a chance against Iron Man. As a Huge Tolkien fan, I love these lord of the rings sets. But as a marvel fan, I think Thor should be able to walk out into a battle field and take out 20 orcs no problem.

I like that they're weaker than the superheroes.

Right Wizkids isn't interested in anything besied making money. If they can make 25 LOTR sets they will. There are 4 Batman sets in 2 years, they just keep making and retiring everything you buy.
Who doesn't want a Balrog clix?

I really wanted a complete LOTR set with superboosters of Balrog, Cave Troll, Elephants, Shelob, Nazgul, etc. I am also disappointed that Wizkids makes all these indy sets so much weaker than Marvel/DC.

I like the hobbit but I'm really really hoping someday for some Conan heroclix that would be awesome. Also as a kid I really loved the original dragonlance characters they would make great heroclix. Maybe someday
