13. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This may be hard to believe, but most people have no idea that the TMNT started out in comic book form. Eastman and Laird created them all the way back in 1984 (published by Mirage Studios) with a tiny print run of 3,000 copies -- I recall the first couple issues going for $200.00 back in the day.
Regardless, I think having these heroes in a half-shell would not only sell well to the core audience, but it could easily be packaged as a starter set to introduce new players! Keep colored powers to a minimum, and this could be a big hit in our local Target and Walmart stores.
12. Marvel Zombies
TMNT may be good for new kids, but Marvel Zombies are for the hardcore only. The original LE's still command a high price on eBay, and the ones provided in Marvel Mutations and Monsters were just kind of so-so. How about giving us a boxed set with lots of zombies -- and please, please, please make it HeroClix and HorrorClix compatible.
For this kind of boxed set we can probably include some of lesser popular characters, like zombie Thor, zombie Captain America, zombie She-Hulk... hmmmm... how about just a Zombie Fantastic Four set? It would be especially coold if it included the zombie versions and the Ultimate version of the FF (where the zombies first appeared).
11. The Walking Dead
This is one of the best books out there, and who wouldn't want a zombie centric set? Forget about the super powered Marvel Zombies, give me normal homo sapien zombies and Rick Grimes with missing hand! And let's not forget the evil Governor too! Heck, how about the Governor on a TANK?!?
Then again, we don't really need those non-zombies in there. It can just be box full of zombies. Do it just right and customers would buy multiple box sets!
(and once again, please make it HorroClix/HeroClix compatible!)
