A fan favorite, Spike was truly an anti-hero of the best kind. When he wasn't giving the Scooby Gang the finger, he was actually very helpful... as long as it suited his own plans. For fans of the show, it was very interesting to see him develop over the course of seven seasons. In the end he wasn't as "evil" as his first appearances, but for the most part he stayed true to form. It was especially fun to see Spike return in the Angel tv series.
