09-18-2015: Don't look now, Talk Like a Pirate Day is tomorrow! As an update to our Pirates article, let's take a look at two Heroclix Pirates!
We start with STAR-LORD from the start set. For 75 points he's an excellent secondary attacker thanks to Penetrating/Psychic Blast and a workable 6 range. Even his Defense sports three clicks of [17] with Toughness. Don't forget all the cool goodies, like that trait and two special powers.

Now this is what a pirate should look like. It's the eyepatch - eyepatches are cool. Deathstroke can be a little pricey at 112 points but it's a deep dial starting with an [18] defense and Indomitable! His movement is a little slow, but he does get Charge and he keeps a good Attack Value for the entire dial. What a great pirate!
