Your Comments:
I just wanted to thank you guys for the free booster of DC75th that I won for being a subscriber.I received the booster just a few days after winning the pack and I am VERY happy with the pull.

My pull was SR Superman,Animal Man,Sgt.Rock,Deadshot, and Johnny Quick. Thanks again!

I tried to send this via your contact format but it wouldn't let me do it for some reason.

Posted by: Chris G. on 2/3/2011 2:16:53 PM
No dice on that, bro... and yes, I finally broke down & signed up for Facebook...

Posted by: MEsch on 1/31/2011 7:54:42 PM
I am so happy to have won a free boster of DC 75th. I can't wait to get my booster and I'll post if I pull something good inside of it. This site is one of my favorite sites and me winning something off of it just makes it that much better. Keep up the great work The Le and everyone else involved with this site.

DAVE is correct! In Ultimate Spider-Man, Peter Parker was working on his father's adhesive formula (which wasn't working at the time). As he was coming home from school, the solution "just hit him" out of the blue! Contrats Dave! 3 more chances to win for you Facebook geeks. Stay tuned!

Posted by: The Le on 1/28/2011 9:38:49 AM
It was his father's formula

Posted by: Mike on 1/28/2011 9:16:12 AM
he found his fathers research in the basement and completed the formula for an adhesive that became the web formula.

Posted by: Motujason on 1/28/2011 8:41:49 AM
From his dead father. He left it, conveniently, on a chalk board in the basement.

Posted by: Dairoka on 1/28/2011 8:31:51 AM
His fathers research on adhesives That Peter finish to make the webs.

Posted by: canoelloco on 1/28/2011 2:58:13 AM
He completes his fathers research on adhesives, and makes artificial webs!

Posted by: Kyle on 1/27/2011 4:53:57 PM
He manages to complete his father's research on adhesives, creating a formula used to create artificial webs.

Posted by: Owlman166 on 1/27/2011 4:21:45 PM
The formula came from some notes on his father's work with adhesives which he only needed to modify slightly, though he created the web shooters himself.

Posted by: Blaiser on 1/27/2011 4:21:38 PM
He gets the formula by completing his father's work on adhesives. The formula is shot throught the web shooter in thin strands and when has contact with air hardens into strands.

Posted by: luke on 1/27/2011 3:45:18 PM
In the cartoon he claims he got the formula from the spider when itbit him.

Posted by: Zach on 1/27/2011 2:59:34 PM
From the internet.

Posted by: meman on 1/27/2011 2:44:48 PM
It was a formula for a long-chain polymer that knits itself into a high density fiber on contact with air. It was originally developed by his father, then completed by Peter.

Posted by: CallMeMOTO on 1/27/2011 1:03:43 PM
No, he had his web shooters. Dave is right and Algan expanded on it more technically.

Posted by: Arach on 1/27/2011 12:45:56 PM
Peter Parker, in the ultimate universe, didn't have artificial web shooters.

The formula come from his father but not totally.

I would choose the box labeled "MIXED". If a Batman was pulled out of the box, I would then label it "Batman figures only", because I would know it's not the mixed box after being told that each box is assigned the wrong label. At this point, the box labeled "Wonder Woman figures only" would be labeled the "MIXED" box and what was "Batman figures only" would be labeled with "Wonder Woman only" because each box's label must change.
If Wonder Woman had come out of the original "MIXED" box, then that box would become "Wonder Woman only" while the "Batman figures only" would now be labeled "MIXED" and the "Wonder Woman figures only" would be labeled "Batman figures only."

Posted by: Blaiser on 1/19/2011 6:51:34 PM
Um...I have a nosebleed already.

Posted by: Brendan on 1/17/2011 9:37:39 AM
You would pick the box marked "M". Depending on which figure came out You would know that it was either the Batman box or the Wonder Woman box. Label it appropriately. So if it was Batman, you would label it "B". Then the one marked WW you would then mark as "M" and the one marked originally with "B" would be marked "WW". This is because you stated that they were all marked incorrectly. So you could not just switch out the "B" and the "M". Since they are all incorrectly labeled you would have to make sure all were changed, and by verifying the identity of one (the one originally marked "M") you now know the identity of the other 2 by process of elimination.

But I see there are several correctly answered ones already :( lol

Posted by: machineman on 1/16/2011 11:32:36 PM
what I would do is go and get a friend, the weight of the box and the individual fig. Wonder woman figures usually weigh less than batman figures. so then say I pull a batman fig.... I would then weigh the box and contents and then just the box itself. We would then see if the numbers were consistent with it being a pure batman box or if it was mixed. then it would be a teamwork deal and easy to figure out just by repeating the process for the fig that was pulled. by default we would be able to figure out the last box because it would be the last choice left.

Posted by: Bam on 1/16/2011 8:36:03 PM
I would chose the box labeled M (Mixed). It will tell me that box is Batman or Wonder Woman depending on which one was pulled. Then the other two boxes would be changed to (i.e. if the M box showed me a Batman, that box is then labeled B) then the WW labeled box will be M for Mixed and the B labeled box will be WW for Wonder Woman.

Posted by: Qui-Jan on 1/16/2011 8:33:30 AM
Does it matter!? Just give me a box! I like suprises anyways =P

Posted by: Lord-Venomous on 1/16/2011 1:14:42 AM
Pick one fig from the M box, since you know for a fact that the boxes are mislabeled the M box contains either all B or all WW. Whichever fig you pull, you know the opposite marked box contains mixed.
I.e.; if M=B, WW=M & B=WW/ or if M=WW B=M & WW=B

Posted by: BoggyMan on 1/15/2011 10:58:34 PM
Pick the mixed box. Since all the labels are wrong what ever comes out of the mixed box will be all the same wether it's all BM or all WW. If the mixed box is BM, then the BM box is full of WW and the WW box is full of Mixed. If the mixed box is full of WW then the BM box is full of Mixed and the WW box is full of BM.

Posted by: skallanc on 1/15/2011 9:29:20 PM
Its 50/50 either way ill take the box marked WW please

Posted by: John Stracuzzi on 1/15/2011 8:38:18 PM
Pick the batman box, the figure pulled will be either a BM or WW. That box will be the mixed box or opposite to the lable. Since all boxes are mislabled the remainding boxes the opposite of what their lables state i.e if I pull a batman that box is mixed and the ww box batman and the mixed box has batman

Posted by: Little J on 1/15/2011 8:27:00 PM
@Bound: Yes you can. Map give-aways are a different beast altogether.

Posted by: The Le on 1/15/2011 3:31:11 PM
Can I play for boosters even though I already won a map?

Posted by: bound on 1/15/2011 3:23:14 PM
I would choose the box labeled mixed since if the labels are wrong, it could not be a mixed box. If it contained a wonderwoman figure, I would know that the box labeled Batman was actually mixed. If it conatined a Batman figure, I would know that the box labeled Wonderwoman was actually mixed.

Posted by: Greg on 1/15/2011 2:20:21 PM
Take a figure out of the box labeled "Mixed" This box, by default, is not the mixed box and will tell you which figure is in that box. It will be either a Batman or Wonder Woman.

If you pull Batman from the 'Mixed' box. Is it the Batman box. That means that The box Labeled Batman is full of Wonder Woman figures and the box labeled Wonder Woman is the mixed box.

Conversely if You pull the Wonder Woman figure, then the boxed mislabeled 'Mixed' is full of Wonder woman figures. The box Labeled Wonder Woman is full of Batman figures and the Batman labeled box is mixed.

Posted by: Jessica on 1/15/2011 1:42:23 PM
Seeing as how you did not say the FIRST right answer wins it & it's 0900 where I'm at & in a matter of 20 mins you awarded the prize already it kinda shot everyone outta the running save for those on the east coast, night owls or lurkers.

Oh well

Posted by: JD on 1/15/2011 12:03:47 PM
thanks guys :) I was working on my laptop and it went over the button before I could finish typing it :P

Posted by: mike on 1/15/2011 11:59:14 AM
1. Pull a figure from the box mislabeled mixed.
2. Relabel the mixed box to whatever figure you pulled. For example if you pulled Batman it must be the Batman box.
3. Relabel other two boxes accordingly. For example if the mixed box was actually the Batman box you know the box mislabeled the WonderWoman box cannot be the Batman box. So it must relabled the mixed box. By process of elimination and the same logic the box mislabeled the Batman box must be wonder woman box.

Posted by: Kurt Thomas on 1/15/2011 11:56:55 AM
Mike_Houghton's answer was first (and correct), but somewhat vague. Tim Morgan's answer is much closer to what I am looking for as it explains the answer in detail (and was only 26 seconds behind). My compassion ring dictates that I give you both the win!

That's right, I'm giving a awarding you both a free DC 75th booster!

For you others, there's still more chances in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Posted by: The Le on 1/15/2011 11:51:21 AM
I hope you are selecting from among the correct answers, since the correct one is already posted :(
as Mike H. said- select the box labeled "Mixed". Whatever character is pulled from that- Bats or WW, is the contents of the entire box.
Label that "Mixed" box Bats or WW accordingly.
The other two boxes are labeled wrong, so simply switch the labels already on the other two.

All three boxes will now be correctly labeled.

Posted by: Andrew Hoffman on 1/15/2011 11:47:23 AM

Posted by: mike on 1/15/2011 11:42:26 AM

You would put the label of the who ever you pull out of that box on the mixed one. You would then put the label of the box you have done nothing with on the box you just took the label off of and then put the mixed one on that one you just took the label off of

You pick the mix. Since all the labels are wrong you then take either the B or WW label and put it on there. Then place the mixed label on the box that still has a label. Then put the remaining label on the remaining box.

1. Pick one figure from 'mixed' box then label that box to
the picked figure.

2. Go the box originally labeled with the picked figure and
change it the opposite of the picked figure.

3. rename remaining box 'mixed'

Hmmm... So you pick the box labled "Mixed," since you know it's wrong. If you're shown a Batman, then you know what's in the other two boxes. The Wonder Woman box would then be the Mixed box, because it can't be correct, which means the Batman box would have the Wonder Women. :)

How's that?

Pick mixed box and what ever figure they pull is that box for that figure. Then switch the others

Lift each box, without looking inside. Identify the lightest box. That is the mixed box. Select one of the other two boxes to pull the figure from. Whatever figure is shown from that box is the single batman or single wonder woman box. Thus, you can identify the third box as the opposite single figure box.
