In the Fall of 2000 I received a free 2-week subscription to Matchmaker.com (not to be confused with Match.com). During that free trial I met lots of different people, including a certain Bowling Green University gal who was also trying out the free 2-week promotion.

Our Matchmaker.com talks turned into emails, which turned into Instant Messenger talks, then phone talks, and finally meeting in person.

Ten years later we're happily married with a mortgage, two cars, two cats, one son, a tank full of fish, a new computer I paid way too much money for, and a HeroClix fan website.
