Let's get straight to it: the Injustice League Team Ability stinks. To be fair, it's better now than it has been in the past, but it's still at the bottom of the barrel as far as Team Abilities goes. Lets first take a look at how this TA works.
INJUSTICE LEAGUE (Blackest Night PAC)
Whenever a character using the Injustice League team ability attacks an opposing character that was attacked by another character using the Injustice League team ability this turn, the action does not count toward your available actions for the turn.
Alright, stinks was probably an overstatement when I opened up this article, but you have to admit that the TA isn't as useful as it seems. This ability is great if you have lots of figures on your team that far exceeds your allocated actions. For example, this TA is useful in a 400 point game where you have 10 Injustice League figures on your team. But how often is that going to happen?
The Injustice League TA reminds me of an old SNL skit with Patrick "Captain Picard" Stewart. He was on a soccer holigan show and declared, "Scottish soccer - great on paper, sucks on grass!"
The main issue with the TA is that it works off of Action Tokens, and its current wording is problematic with the current HeroClix game model. Unlike Warhammer or other mass army games, HeroClix is really designed for a small team (of around 5 figures) to battle other teams of similar size. Sure you can stack your team with small point figures to create a large army, but the game really wasn't designed for that (there's a reason why people hate bystander-token-heavy teams).
So in a 400 point game where you have 6 figures running around, chances are that at least 2 of them will be resting during any given turn... giving you exactly 4 Action Tokens for your other 4 characters. This is why the Injustice League TA is so terrible -- it's not useable at all under normal game conditions. Even worse, the Injustice League TA is absolutely useless when you have more Action Tokens than figures... a problem you don't run into with just two Superman Enemy figures or two JSA figures (or one Batman Ally figure).
