Arkham Asylum Inmates
With Joker and Two-Face leading the escape, a well known assortment of Bat-Villains are included in the set. I am sure we all have our favorite nemesis for the Dark Knight, but in this game some of them seem to perform better than others.
With both Leadership and Healing combined with Mastermind so he can only be attacked once in a turn -- I have found Two-Face to be one of the best Villains. Not only does he have such a good set of supporting powers but he is a reasonable attacker as well.
Bringing a long dial with Toughness, Shape Change, and Bind (Plasticity), Clayface managed to be the perfect tie up figure in a set with no break-away rules! His downside is low movement and Attack, but it is often worth wasting a potential attack action to get Clayface into the fray. There are few figures that keep three damage for long, so if you time it right, opponents will have to whittle away one click of life at a time.
- #19 Joker - 40 Points
For such a low cost I think this figure is excellent for both HeroClix and AlphaClix. In Alpha his Evade power combined with eight range allows him to move, shoot, and move back (either out of range or into a more protected position). He also has Explosion at the start of the dial and Poison to finish. Both of these powers are well suited to dealing with multiple targets at once.
- #6 Harley Quinn - 30 Points
When looking at Ms Quinn as a Heroclix figure her four Range and one damage with RCE will most likly get her discarded for a more effective figure. However under Alpha rules there is nothing to stop her using RCE while based, or as part of a 'Move and Attack' so she is the cheapest figure in the set with 3 damage and is protected by both Stealth and Super Senses. I believe the only time she can not use her RCE is against figures using Stealth and occasional Line of Fire issues if trying to shoot on the diagonal.
