Wonder Man & Beast
Pedro P: You'll get tons of answers like this, I'm sure. The best Marvel Duo of all time: Wonder Man & The Beast.
It's almost impossible to think about one character without remembering the other. These two avengers were what the three musketeers would have been if they were two, not four :)
Also, heroclix-wise, it would be a good figure with a nice share of powers. Invulnerabilty, Flight, Leap/Climb, Outwit, Perplex, Super-strength, combat-reflexes...any close combat trait you're looking for these two gentlemen can deliver. And imagine the fun it would be to give names to those special powers.
Bill T: Gotta have a Wonderman and Beast duo. They were and still are one Marvel's funnest buddy teams. They even got their own mini series a few years ago. Give them X-Men/Avengers TA (Thunderbolt anyone?). This would be a close combat beast (pun intended) super strength, Beast special power granting perplex and outwit or a special granting lunge. Ionic Power trait granting poison or super strength full dial. Huge possibilities.
Daredevil & Black Widow
Eric "Slade Wilson" Schaen: This would be another lower cost duo figure like Hawk and Dove, keep them under 100 points.
This figure like some of the first Duo’s wouldn’t need any special powers just the right mix of powers. Stealth, Super Senses, Perplex, close combat expert and outwit are all in order here also some late dial willpower wouldn’t hurt.
A trait that allows them to use leap/climb would make the icing on the cake.
