The Le: You have quite the obession with the X-men. So what did you think of the X-Men movies?

Myke: I like them, especially 2 and 3, however I'm still looking for something more.

I like the way it was presented in a real-life feeling... they wear black costumes because they are heroes incognito. Mutants who are afraid of being found out wouldn't wear colorful spandex.

I also like some of the vents changed in the film for it to have a different universe than the comic books or cartoon series.

My only disappointments were that Cyclops was too overshadowed by Wolverine and Storm should have been already a strong character on the first film.

The Le: I agree. Cyclops is one of my favorite characters, and they did a very poor job of making him into a leader.

Myke: X-Men 3 has great action but it's too short. I was expecting a firebird effect and mass destruction of Dark Phoenix , but the effects alternative turned out great. The disintegration wave is something new that maximizes the telekinetic ability in an offensive way. It made Jean standout among other film characters with telekinesis (Carrie , Darth Vader etc).

X-Men 3's way of presentation could have been a good intro or 2nd film. While 1 and 2 combined could be a good first film for me.

I expected more sequels after 3. There was lack of presentation on Angel, Rogue, Iceman, Etc. It's like the 3rd film was their intro.
