Yo!

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words (and a tip o' the cap to Le for showcasing my stuff here).

I know things have been kinda quiet update-wise on my blog lately, but that's just 'cause I started a new job last year and it eats up a CRAZY amount of my time. I've been working on some new posts and I'll get 'em up there eventually -- some new customs and junk.

But enough about me, let's talk about me...

Kragnorak: My question if he sees this: How are the dials handled? Best fit, or custom?

Hi Kragnorak. First off, your name sounds like a Thor villain. Second, it's custom dials all the way. I'll base the depth of a dial and rough stats of a new custom on a similar figure with an established dial. Like, if I'm making a Death Adder custom, I'll base his dial on the Lizard and tweak it so it feels right. Then I'll head over to the below site and cobble it together:

I try and come up with fun box powers, something unique that captures the spirit of the character. In addition to weird box stats, a "last stand" click in their final slot is a must. This "Hail Mary" power makes the figure valuable and worth keeping alive even when they've been hammered. A spike in offense, damage, Outwit, etc.

Toychop's sense of humor is awesome - I have looked at his terrain stuff before and the captions are great.

I've been a fan of ToyChop for quite some time as well. One of my favourites is still the Marvel Go-Kart set. I keep checking in on his site for some new snippet of awesome, but alas it's been quiet these 8 months.

I've been a big fan of ToyChop for years. He has a lot of fun with the game and it comes through in his spectacular mods and maps. Great choice to show off his work.

Does anyone want a quick and easy conversion project. All you need is an Emma Frost figure from the clobbering time set, give it a couple of coats of white acrylic paint with just the hint of blue ink in it, once its dry, cover the figure in a coat of 'Stickles Icicle glitter.' This is a product intended for the card making and scrap booking set. It is a fine glitter suspended in glue. you paint it on and allow the glue to dry. Instant Emma Frost in diamond form!
