I got one of those display boxes & easily pulled multiples of the 9 figures in the set. I am not disappointed AT ALL for either the dials or the concept, though the sculpts are admittedly tough with the level of detail in the original art compared to the size of the figure.

Hey The... FB Msg me if you'd like me to write up a review of the figures in the set. Will gladly add band info to explain some of the references on the cards.

@ajsprint -- I have heard nothing of this being cancelled. As a matter of fact, my understanding is that there was some internal discussion about Iron Maiden HeroClix a few months ago. If they've cancelled this recently, it's news to me.

Didn't I read somewhere that NECA/WK was in talks with Maiden's people, getting them to wrap their brains around the project? There is precedentfor them to be involved in some form of gaming: the first person shooter, Ed Hunter.

@Shadius Maybe not. The last news was March, which was just 5 months ago. After all, Lord of the Rings Clix was announced in January, and we're just getting peeks of it now, some 7 months later. I very much believe Iron Maiden Clix is in the works -- so I will keep hope alive!

I love this. "The Trooper" is my favorite Iron Maiden song, and now, there's an Eddie clix, or several, as luck would have it. Even if I wasn't a clix fan, I'd buy these simply for the Iron Maiden glory.

Im not a fan of iron maiden to be honest but i will buy a few because if what i heard about "rock clix" has any remote truth in it, than this set i feel is more of a test run to see if its worth making other bands. I would love to see a bunch of rock stars made into clix, kiss, queen and ac/dc. I also think it would be awesome if they made elvis hahaha i would so buy it, but that may be pushing it

I heard a rumor four years ago, that Gene Simmons had talked to someone at WizKids during GenCon 2006 about Kiss making something called "RockClix" to tie into HorrorClix. There was some belief that it could happen as ToonClix had been announced at that time, too. Now, I'm excited. :-)
