The Marvel HeroClix: Captain America Organized Play Kit contains everything a retailer needs to bring HeroClix players into their store for weekly events - including new limited edition figures, 3-D objects, maps and more!

Each OP Kit include prizes to run 10 weeks of events, with each week giving away prizes for 1st and 2nd place, a fellowship drawing and a judge reward. A suggested schedule and format guide makes it easy for stores to run HeroClix organized play for the first time.

OP kits are intended for tournament play and NOT FOR RESALE.
No retail store location may order more than 3 OP Kits total.

2 Captain America Cases - 1st OP Kit
7 Captain America Cases - 2nd OP Kit
12 Captain America Cases - 3rd OP Kit
Each OP Kit Contains:

15 Limited Edition figures. All LE figures have different paint jobs from the normal versions of the figures! (3 copies of 5 different figures, each with character card).
30 3-D objects. All objects have a special game effect! (2 different 3-D objects, 9 Zodiac Key objects and 21 Captain America's Shield objects)
10 2-sided Maps (24" x 36"). There are four different map designs. All four can be connected to form the SHIELD Hellicarrier!

i got a brick and 3 gravity feed boosters

Posted by: bp29 on 11/2/2011 9:28:00 AM
the cap in ice figures is so good for 68 points at my event nobody got a click of damage on him

Posted by: sgtfury on 8/17/2011 10:06:09 AM
Agreed mr fury, not had this much fun at an event since avangers! total success in my humble opinion.
this sets made even better by the multi dial generics in the gravity feed set

Posted by: Ste on 8/8/2011 8:46:30 AM
best set ever

Posted by: sgtfury on 7/23/2011 6:58:31 AM
@japete61, the shield is a light object n Cap has super strength when he has the shield. If i'm right that means he can throw the shield at least 6(i think thats right) squares bcuz its a light object n he has SS when holding it.

Posted by: geminimerc on 7/22/2011 12:01:53 PM
i pulled a cap in ice chace fig in my first two boosters at my sealed event

Posted by: sgtfury on 7/21/2011 6:17:06 PM
On the new Cap rare where he is throwing his shield, his special power says something about making a range combat attack but when you look at his dial he has a range of 0 at least on mine. Is he supposed to have a range of 0 or is mine a misprint and how does his white power work then if he only has a range of 0?

Posted by: japete61 on 7/21/2011 6:38:17 AM
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay another howling commando gabe jones

Posted by: sgtfury on 7/16/2011 4:20:49 PM
We played a booster draft today, and my $25 served me well. I pulled Luke Cage, Doorman, Nightshade, Stonewall, Mr. Hyde, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Gorgon, a SHIELD agent, oh, yeah, and Capwolf. Yeah, Capwolf.

Posted by: The Blue Hope on 7/16/2011 3:25:34 PM
Just got my case today and I'm very happy with it. I got weapon x, red skull, baron zemo, and modok to name a few. I also got a good supply of hydra and shield agents.

Posted by: Japete61 on 7/14/2011 8:00:28 PM
Pretty awsome set. Got Rojhaz, Human Torch, and throwing shield Cap, just to name a few. Over all very well pleased with the set.

Posted by: rwhitl1084 on 7/14/2011 5:07:34 AM
Also won the red gaurdian le

Posted by: joe on 7/14/2011 12:49:51 AM
sorry capwolf

Posted by: joe on 7/14/2011 12:48:56 AM
So how did everyone do opening bricks, i got a capwplf, the captain, and zodiac in my brick.

Posted by: joe on 7/14/2011 12:47:55 AM
Booo no local store within 100 miles can only dream of getting LEs and map.

Posted by: Small Town Guy on 7/13/2011 8:15:13 PM
It's johnny Storm

Posted by: RogueU on 7/13/2011 1:04:45 PM
anybody know if the human torch is johnny or the invaders torch?

Posted by: marcus on 7/12/2011 2:50:10 PM
yeah the nick fury lmd is a generic miniony type, can remember where i read it tho, may have been on the realms, its a clever way to encourage multi brick buyers

Posted by: ste on 7/12/2011 9:28:52 AM
Does anyone know if the nick fury LMD bibtb figure is going to be a minion style figure? I'm thinking yes since in the comics he has more than one. Any ideas?

Posted by: Japete61 on 7/10/2011 3:37:52 PM
@The Le I had no clue about that lol I just started playing after DC 75th but 75th and gsx had them 1 per brick

Posted by: Jeris on 7/10/2011 3:08:58 PM
@Jeris: How is that a bad thing? Before DC 75th, chases were 1 in every 5 cases, sometimes 8 cases.

Posted by: The Le on 7/10/2011 2:19:38 PM
I just heard a rumor that this set is gonna have chases but the terrible thing about it is that from what I heard is there's gonna be a chase per case (1 of the 2 bricks that come together). If that's true it's just dumb and am very frustrated with wizkids or NECA, whoever makes those decisions...I want my weapon x and ice captain!!!

Posted by: Jeris on 7/10/2011 9:41:15 AM
That Mr. Hyde sculpt is the exact same pose as the old Infinity Challenge sculpt...way to go creative, WizKids.
(At least it's traditional, old school Hyde, not the suddenly-speaks-with-a-British-accent and wears-a-bowler, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen rip-off that has been appearing in Thunderbolts lately.)
Come to think of it, the new Crimson Dynamo is in the exact same pose as the Xplosion version. Lame.

Posted by: dirkzorn on 7/8/2011 1:00:34 PM
I have to say, I'm ridiculously pleased to be finally getting Armadillo - I've wanted my favorite super luchadore forever!

I also can't wait to do a comics-accurate battle of Thunderbolts vs. Jack Flag (my guess is that would be a hilarious 900 pts or so vs. 60). Hmm, perhaps that would make a good scenario. How many turns can Jack Flag survive? Can he take anybody out of action before going down? Then you can compete with friends for a "high score".

Posted by: Kragnorak on 7/8/2011 8:10:56 AM
Just looked over checklist, yea a bit late, um Luke Cage looks like he was at Mc D's a bit .....hopefully bad picture.

Posted by: scourge101 on 7/7/2011 8:10:59 AM
hrm. That shade of red Red Guardian looks a bit garish. Reminds me of the McDonald's red that was used on Avengers Spidey in the Stark Armor (which I had to have re-painted as the shade was hideous).

Posted by: Kragnorak on 7/7/2011 6:41:57 AM
I have to admit, i am wondering where some more traditional/classic/iconic captain america characters are (like a new Clint Barton Hawkeye /cough /cough; Arnim Zola; Faustus). But i'm still excited about this set and am hoping i pull those FF pieces and that Quasar and that-

/Headshot
/Logan has died

Posted by: Logan on 7/6/2011 8:53:17 PM
@ The Le. No worries, I use those for entering it in to Battleplanner. Clixers Yahoo group has unofficial updates for it since they are being slow with the official updates.

Posted by: Puuka on 7/6/2011 4:45:47 PM
"american ww2 soldiers look nothing like germans because they had different uniforms"

What i was saying "joe" is that the commando sculpt has german uniform character. The shoulder boards, helmet shape(fritz style)and a weapon that more resembles the combination of a mp40 and Sturmgewehr than a Thompson. Yes your right there is a difference.

Posted by: Zathras on 7/6/2011 4:31:21 PM
@Puuka: Sorry about that -- I didn't think anyone really cared about that flavor-text information. I try to keep things rather minimalistic if I can.

Posted by: The Le on 7/6/2011 12:23:01 PM
Nevermind. Got it from the WK facebook site.

Posted by: Puuka on 7/6/2011 12:17:42 PM
2 questions on Red Guardian.
What level is he (REVU)?
What is his "real" name?

Posted by: Puuka on 7/6/2011 12:16:25 PM
zathras

american ww2 soldiers look nothing like germans because they had different uniforms

Posted by: joe on 7/6/2011 10:47:49 AM
This Set is making me feel excited! I need a Winter Guard against my Alpha Flight (Yes I have all of them except for Guardian and Vindicator. Don't need those!)! I also need the Black widow's for fun.

Posted by: Shadius on 7/6/2011 8:57:09 AM
wolverine weapon x togheter with the cap. america on ice, probably are chases

Posted by: omoud on 7/6/2011 1:39:41 AM

hehehe...made you look! :-)

"High Resolution version of the poster is now available! Special thanks to Raph for schoolin' me!"

Haha, no worries The Le, I only realised it was there myself after furiously trying to squint at the image for several minutes. Happy to help!

Posted by: Raph on 7/5/2011 4:51:45 PM
Thanks for the dial clarification, Hair10...

I have to say I am very excited about this set, as a fan of generics (army, SHIELD, Hydra), and due to the fleshing out of Winter Guard, Secret Warriors, M.O.D.O.K.'s 11, Thunderbolts (including Jack Flag & Nomad as adjunct characters), Serpent Society (wish they had the team symbol), and Great Lakes Avengers.

Speaking of the GLA, it's a shame that Squirrel Girl looks to be Super Rare, but I can see why as people have been clamoring for her for a decade now. I guess until that team is completed we should use the Big Bertha figure from HorrorClix :b

Posted by: Kragnorak on 7/5/2011 1:40:38 PM
Um has anyone notice the (in stasis) Weapon X wolverine is not on the poster?

Posted by: Thedarkknight14 on 7/5/2011 10:34:20 AM
to LE- thanks for the high res pic

to Ralph- I'm so glad I'm not the only one that doesn't play the game. I have a HUGE collection, but have only played the game twice. Not for me, but I LOVE the fact that I can aquire full teams and they can sit on my desk. LE- do you have a place fans can share their pictures? I have most of my clicks on my wall. (And I can't wait to find squirrel girl!!!!)

Posted by: Charles on 7/5/2011 10:24:15 AM
High Resolution version of the poster is now available! Special thanks to Raph for schoolin' me!

Posted by: The Le on 7/5/2011 10:15:01 AM
There''s only 7-8 figures I really want in this set, as a collector of characters rather than a player of Heroclix. I have to get my hands on a Quasar, for sure.

Posted by: Raph on 7/5/2011 9:56:38 AM
Can anyone tell me if thats Dormomu on the checklist between MODOK and Red Skull? I looks like it and it would be cool if they finally gave that figure an up date. I have to say that Im a huge cap fan but I have to kind of agree with Hair10 except for the Sinister being better part. From what I can see here there are only about 10 figures in this set that I want. To me this set is more along the lines of a Brave and the Bold type set. Ok but not great unless they really do something special with the LEs and Chase figures. BTW I wish they would go back to the having one or two chase figure model instead of the 4-10 figure model.

Posted by: japete61 on 7/5/2011 7:58:36 AM
I appreciate the fact that you posted a checklist, but is there any way to get a higher resolution checklist? I enlarged the picture to see who was actually in the set and all I got was blurry images with no names.

Posted by: Charles on 7/5/2011 5:43:57 AM
I'd bet Vanguard will be one of them, since the rest of the team is in the set.

Posted by: Tom on 7/5/2011 5:25:01 AM
This set is amazing! So glad that Cap isn't a SR. They even have a Kitty Pryde Agent of SHIELD! Best set ever!!!!

Sorry, serious Cap fan here and I am so excited.

Where's Hawkeye, though?

Hair10: "Wow, this set looks extremely... lame. :-/

Even Sinister was better than this."

LOL. I agree 100%. I'm gonna save a ton of money by buying this set in a few months rather then getting sucked into the hype maching. I'm waaaay more excited for Street Fighter then this.

"they only have three howling commandos they left out dum dum dugan james howlet gabe jones frenchie sam sawyer and more"

No doubt Joe!! And the Howeling Commandos look more like germans! I didn't like it when they made sgt rocks squad generic in 75th either. I use to hate the figs they made awhile back. But they have improved alot. And i am addicted to this game. I get a kicked from my historical gamer friends sometimes. I just tell them there is history here too....LOL!!

No Iron Man sucks, but hey, Crimson Dynamo!!! And with Weapon X missing from the checklist, I'm betting he's one of the Chases (i.e. one per brick). That leaves at least 3 more. Since two of the FF are in there (as SRs, dammit!) Reed and Ben might be the other two... but who could the last one be?

Posted by: Borgy on 7/4/2011 9:07:49 AM
this is a sick set! Although I wish Weapon X could be mine! My Precious!

Now I cvan have a winter guard to oppose my X-dueds! But htye should also have vanguard. And that Kitty Pryde Shall be mine!

Posted by: Shadius on 7/4/2011 9:02:58 AM
@Kragnorak... Dials are different between gravity feeds and boosters.

Now I'm only curious as to where weapon x is, they show him on page 1 of this on the poster so I'm guessing he's an le and if so that kinda sucks cuz I wanna make sure I have it

Posted by: Jeris on 7/4/2011 7:27:47 AM
That Captain America looks INSANE!!! How is he not a super rae lol.

"Successful" Dirk Anger is an LE

Posted by: Lord Logan on 7/4/2011 7:26:46 AM
So where's "Successful" Dirk Anger on the checklist? Is it because he's a chase or something?

Posted by: EnnisFan on 7/4/2011 7:21:39 AM
Awesome Ursa Major. Funny I was hoping to see him and the rest of the October Guard in the Hulk set. But hell I will take it. I can now finally field a big bear on my team. Cap is looking to become my favorite Marvel set.

I'm still not sure I understand the Gravity Feed vs. boosters...

Are the dials the same or different than what you get in the set?

(I know this seems like a stoopid question, but the Fast Forces often have differing dials, so it gets confusion when you don't have access to HCRealms at work...)

Posted by: Kragnorak on 7/2/2011 11:32:45 AM
When will they ever show us Captain America?

Posted by: Friendly Neighborhood Super Soldier on 7/1/2011 9:21:42 PM
since Slingshot is in this set, does that mean we may see a Griffin figure?

Looks like 11/17 is the new 9/17!

Posted by: hair10 on 6/30/2011 6:04:55 PM
Wow totally can't wait. Bought 10 GF yesterday and got 9 of the figures. I love the duel clix thing going on with the Hydra officers and Shield agents, very playable. I love all the Hydra pieces out of this set.

Posted by: Rwhitl on 6/30/2011 12:55:39 PM
I seriously can't wait until this set comes out. I might just go insane.

Posted by: Friendly Neighborhood Super Soldier on 6/29/2011 2:00:51 PM
My GF order won't be shipping until the main set releases, so I have over two weeks before I get my hands on any of these... but I'm looking forward to it.

machineman: Keep in mind that's +2 to the Trait-granted Plasticity, so it means that Leap/Climbers and HSS pieces are reduced to a normal character's 50:50 breakaway shot, which is a substantial thing. I also like how this doesn't affect straight Phasing/Teleporters, as it shouldn't.

Posted by: Miraclo on 6/29/2011 8:19:22 AM
I've worked hard and collected all of the pieces from the last set an a large chunk from other modern age sets but to me, I'm just feeling really disappointed in this set. Most of the sculpts are not great and the powers figures are just blah. Nothing I haven't seen before

Posted by: Rachel on 6/28/2011 6:53:34 PM
Wow, love the sculpts on Cobra and I.W.! I like the semi-nerf on HSS from Cobra too, I wish it only gave +1 though to the break-away.

Posted by: machineman on 6/26/2011 11:32:15 AM
it would also be nice to get a new fantom-x because cap is part of weapon1, wolvie is part of weapon10(x) and fantom-x is weapon13

Posted by: Ianator on 6/25/2011 10:35:13 PM
This set is looking Amazing! I just hope they give us a new Vison and Hawkeye. I mean if we are getting new FF members, there's no reson we shouldn't have some updated Avengers.

Posted by: MrZombie on 6/25/2011 1:29:47 PM
Wow...That was quick! I suggested Mr. Hyde just last night instead of yet another Sue Storm. lol... I really like their dials, though I wish Cobra started with a slightly higher damage value; oh well, beggars can't be choosers...

BTW, thanks The Le for always keeping us updated on all things Heroclix!

Posted by: Owlman166 on 6/25/2011 7:38:45 AM
I thought the same thing about Sue - another one?

But excited about finally getting Diamondback. She was also Constrictor's almost girlfriend during Initiative and Siege. I hope they finally redo Frank. He was the first LE I ever got...

Posted by: tylerdrake on 6/24/2011 9:10:31 PM
Sigh...Do we REALLY need yet another Invisible Woman?? Come on...How about Black Bolt, Dormammu, Medusa, or even a new Mr. Hyde! I will say she has an awesome sculpt/special ability(s), but still...This set hadbetter impress me this time, NECA...

Posted by: Owlman166 on 6/24/2011 8:14:32 PM
@ninthdoc: I modify the image so you can see everything easily. That is not a chop-job. That is correct Trait, Attack, and Damage Special power.

Posted by: The Le on 6/24/2011 6:36:15 PM
Is that a misprint on IW's card? Why does it go from Trait to Damage Special Power to Attack Special Power. Should "You Can't See What I'm About To Do To You..." be a Trait or is that a Photoshop chop job?

Well, so far the sculpts look good, nothing outstanding, but good.Batroc has a really nice action pose though, which is nice since its his clix debut. And what's with the continuing CSM hate? Good lord, don't play the figure if you don't like it, house rule against anyone else playing it, something other than ranting. I do not play clix anymore, but I still collect. As a collector only, I LOVE CSM, and can't wait for the next such "nonsense", as you put it.

Posted by: machineman on 6/24/2011 12:08:04 PM
batroc, guy who deadpool uses to mop the floor with in DP classics vol 4 somewhere in the 20's of first dp publication. which leads me to ask why deadpool still isn't a close combat expert or uses related abilities etc. etc. etc.

Posted by: dog on 6/24/2011 9:47:03 AM
For me the howling commando looks like it has us military attire and for the gun I'm sure it's suppose to be a thompson but as usual scults don't always come out so great like my leaning magneto, jawless predator x, or Amon sur with no eyes, it looks like a thompson with a huge iron site

Posted by: Jeris on 6/23/2011 4:38:21 PM
To agree to previous posters, yes, the Howling Commando does indeed look German. He is even carrying what appears to be an MP-38 or MP-40, a German submachine. It's definitely not a .45 Thompson or M-3 "Grease Gun", the most common American submachine guns of that era.

Posted by: dirkzorn on 6/23/2011 3:27:31 PM
Batroc has been around since 1966, rarely going more than a year without resurfacing in someone's book, usually Cap's but also Gambit's, practically every version of TOHOTMU, Marvel Team-Up, Marvel Premiere, Defenders, Secret Wars II, Solo Avengers, Marvel Comics Presents, and many more. He's one of Cap's main villians.

Diamondback was Cap's girlfriend for awhile, and was in the memorable Bloodstone Hunt storyline as well as the Serpent Society stories. She even did a brief stint with the X-Folk, circa Atlantis Attacks.

LOL. No, I don't read comics anymore. I used to spend about $30 a week back in my hayday, and I was a huge Mutant fan (look for the HeroClix World interview with Walter Simonson later this year). But the Executioner's Song left a real bad taste in my mouth, so I stopped.

I tried to get back in with the brilliant start of Civil War and excellent Planet Hulk -- but the end of Civil War and WWHulk completely ticked me off.

Everytime I try to get back into comics, THEY let ME down. Green Lantern Rebirth was absurd. OMAC Project was good, but the issues were not consecutive (imagine my surprise when one issue had Maxwell Lord alive and the next he was suddenly dead at the hands of Wonder woman... from a different comic!).

The Ultimates were good... until Loeb royally screwed it up. Ultimate Spider-Man was good... until Bendis decided to kill Gwen Stacey in a most anti-climatic way for no reason at all.

Even the Sinestro War let me down with it's ridiculous inconclusive ending.

As for all these Captain America HeroClix previews, I didn't read any Avengers or Captain America, so I am very unfamiliar with all these characters.

Posted by: The Le on 6/23/2011 6:53:10 AM
@The LE: Do you read comics at all? I only ask due to the fact that every character you preview that does not have their own book or movie based on them, seems to be a mystery to you. Diamondback was part of the 50 States Initiative and stationed at Camp Hammond when it was destroyed during the battle with the New Warriors and the Thor Clone, Ragnarok. I'll admit, I had no idea who Batroc is, but I'm not running a site dedicated to Comic Book Characters. Do a little research before you throw a preview at us. Give us a little insight as to "why" there is a Heroclix of this character. Wikipedia is just an address bar away. Spread your literary wings, weave us a story, tell us the facts. Don't give us a reason to visit another site. Just a little helpful hint. I know you love to hear them.

Diamondback!...sucks. She's at least 10-12 points over costed. If she had an 8 range, maybe, but 5?? With one target??? Back to the drawin' board, NECA... I will say congrats on a job well done for the Howling Commando and Nick Fury, though. A+.

I agree with dethklok and Hair 10. She would be worth those points with the Serpent Society TA which would make the special power more dangerous.

As it is this looks like a 50-60 point dial to me.

Posted by: Kragnorak on 6/22/2011 8:48:16 AM
Dosen't go above 2 damage, and a special thats not worth having, its not worth its points

Posted by: dethklokrocker@yahoo.com on 6/22/2011 8:44:17 AM
Another 17 Def+CR... I'm shocked! (not really)

It's sad that she doesn't have the actual Serpent Society TA.

Posted by: hair10 on 6/22/2011 8:32:05 AM
RE: hair10, RE: batroc "What's with all the 17 Def+CR on the cheap characters over the past few sets??!"

At least I can justify Batroc having a 19 Defense up close on his first two clicks. Diamondback can take a hit and LAND on a 19? That seems like a stretch.

Posted by: Dairoka on 6/22/2011 8:03:04 AM
Agreed. Diamondback and Batroc. Classic Captain America. Sure they may not show up a tremendous amount but they are definitely in Cap's rogue gallery.

Posted by: Websligner14 on 6/22/2011 7:10:56 AM
Someone has never heard of Batroc OR Diamondback? Really? These two aren't A-list, but Batroc has been around for 35 years, and Diamondback was a mainstay in Cap's book for years.

I noticed that too Preacher. Kinda dumb of them not to put some imagination into it.

Wow, DC75 Superman put on a Nick Fury costume!

Posted by: Preacher13 on 6/17/2011 6:11:37 PM
Nick looks like a little tiny wax birthday candle.

And we can just paint the Commando gray and he can be Red Skull's nazi backup.

Posted by: Dairoka on 6/17/2011 12:13:44 PM
I do agree that the Howling Commando does look like a german. But I will have to get at least 7 of them (and do some modding)to represent all of the different Howlers besides Nick. This one is either Izzy or Junior since they were the only two that wore a helmet most of the time. Dum-Dum, Reb, Dino, Percey, Gabe and even Nick all had different headgear, if they wore any at all in the comics.

Posted by: Nightwing-fan on 6/17/2011 10:19:18 AM
Okay, I like the Nick Fury dial a lot -- for 109 points, that is a very good Batman-level dial -- but I'm going to have to mod one with a more WWII sculpt to use with the Howling Commandos... the SHIELD Nick just won't do leading a WWII team.

Posted by: WolvieFan9 on 6/17/2011 9:50:37 AM
i love the howling commando's pose but is it just me or do they look a bit...german?

Posted by: that dude on 6/17/2011 9:04:34 AM
Of course, this isn’t your father’s Captain America! The new Captain America is actually Steve Roger’s former partner from WWII, James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes! With decades of experience, Captain America rushes into battle with Running Shot as he launches himself into battle. And if the costume wasn’t a dead giveaway, early-dial Perplex and Super Strength defintely set this Cap apart from his former partner!

Captain America’s armored costume affords some protection in the form of Toughness, and eventually gives way to Energy Shield/Deflection as he demonstrates a greater aptitude using his shield.

Mid-dial Ranged Combat Expert displays Captain America’s dangerous skill with both firearms and thrown weapons (honed by decades of experience fighting as the Winter Soldier), while late-dial Charge and Close Combat Expert shows just how effective this Captain America is in melee!

At 89 points and with consistent combat values and a great power selection Captain America will be a great addition to your force.

That’s all we have for today, but be sure to join us later this week as we check in a with the nefarious mastermind behind one of the world’s most deadly organizations! Until then, keep on clixing!

@Jessurugi: NOSE HOLE!!! My goodness... that's what's been bugging me about his face. I haven't been able to figure it out for the life of me. Good catch!

Posted by: The Le on 6/13/2011 4:57:11 PM
I have an urge to immediately paint a nose-hole on my RedSkull if he comes without it. He looks too silly without it. :/

Posted by: Jessurugi on 6/13/2011 4:31:31 PM
Bucky Cap is too good. Bendis wrote him as perplexed much more often than he is perplexing others.

I would rather have seen a 50 point character, especially considering that Bucky will beat up many versions of Steve Rogers, which is just terrible.

I guess he has one click of SuperStrength to represent the robot arm? It is tough for him to lift heavy objects with just one arm I would think. A true super strong character has to put their back and legs into smashing somebody with a car. Buck would end up with a torn spleen and a semi-colon.

I mean, here he is at 89 points while even the most recent Captain America was a Rookie clocking in at 70-something.

Posted by: Kragnorak on 6/13/2011 1:43:08 PM
"Bucky is not Steve Rogers, this dial shows that."

Agreed - much like the character, this is a straightforward, pedestrian, uninspired design (!)

Posted by: scoureg101 on 6/13/2011 9:45:20 AM
I assume this latest dial is Bucky Cap? I'm just not big on versions of the character that use guns. I hope we get an honest-to-goodness Silver Age Cap with the ability to multi-incapacitate numerous foes with his shield!

On page 2 of this story it says this about the gravity feed...

"A 10 figure set containing the most popular heroes and villains from the Marvel HeroClix Captain America Booster release, completely re-dialed for a new gameplay experience!"

This implies new stats but my venue was informed that the stats were the same. Are the stats different between the Gravity feed and normal Cap set?

Thanks!

Posted by: tylerdrake on 6/10/2011 10:42:46 AM
Richard Fisk is the son of Wilson Fisk, AKA the Kingpin. He was "Supreme Hydra" for a very brief time in the early 1970's, but it was eventually revealed, IIRC, theat he was really just a dupe of the Red Skull.

@Gerald : Those are the OLD sculpts r-tard

Posted by: ClixGuy on 6/6/2011 11:52:11 AM
@carl. Actually, Cap did go from the Liberty Shield to the circular one after a few appearances. I think it had something to do with a potential lawsuit regarding another character named The Shield.
The circular one was retconned into being a Wakandan Vibranium alloy later on.

Posted by: Dairoka on 6/6/2011 10:19:25 AM
not to harsh on captain america but during WWII he didnt have a circular shield and it wasnt made of vibranium just saying that and costume was different.

Posted by: carl on 6/6/2011 12:41:08 AM
Looking at the phenominal quality of the sculpts it is a safe bet to say that Wizkids will not be getting any of my money in the forseeable future.

Posted by: Gerald on 6/4/2011 8:34:13 AM
Sin can actually activate -4- times in two turns. The first turn, she acts to get a token. Then gives the MC'er a token to get her free act. Next turn, while still with one token give a different MC'er a token for her to act again. Then she can use her own willpower to act a fourth time. If she's firing from stealth with RCE each time she can potentially dish out 16 damage in two turns.

Posted by: Dartais on 6/1/2011 12:45:53 PM
"Once per turn, if Sin has exactly one action token" - you can do it ONCE.

Posted by: DougieMonster on 6/1/2011 11:27:55 AM
Re: I think someone needs to explain how her power works.
Scenario: Sin has only one action token. Red Skull, Crossbones and Mister Mind (I like Mr. Mind), all within 8 squares. Any one of the three can take a Power Action to "mind contol" Sin into getting an action as a Free Action.
Abuse Scenario:
Turn one: Move Sin into Hindering (stealth). Sin has one Action Token.
Turn one: Have Crossbones take a Power Action to give Sin a Ranged Attack as a free action.

Turn Two: Sin still has one Action Token.
Turn Two: Red Skull takes a Power Action to give Sin an Attack as a Free Action.
Turn Two: Crossbones clears. Sin clears (did not take a Non-Free Action)

Turn three: repeat.

Sin can act three times every two turns if lined up to do so.

Traditionally (pre NECA) we've always gotten more Marvel sets than DC sets. Marvel sets have always sold more than DC. Also, It could very well be that licensing Marvel is less expensive than licensing DC, and so thee might be more profit in Marvel.

Posted by: The Le on 5/27/2011 2:35:01 PM
So why are we getting another marvel set right after the xmen set?

Posted by: Nafets920 on 5/27/2011 2:32:11 PM
Meh. The minion ability is okay, but it's nowhere near Hellfire Club or the Asgardians minion ability. it's just a souped up stryker/purifer ability, but on more expensive dials.

It looks cool, but I thought Superman was the next one since we just had the X-men set. So why does the poster for the actual set say June 2011. I figured that the Gravity Feed would come out in June and then the Superman set would be next.

have to do most of my heroclix buying online because there is no where with in what I would call a reasonable driving distance (ie: the closest place for me to go in and buy clix is an hours drive. I would do anything to have a place close by where I could walk in and get heroclix) When DC 75th and GSX sold out I felt like most online stores were gouging a little. Thanks for trying to clear things up incase I was thinking about it wrong tho. Since I have no local store I am going to have to pay online prices which are going to go up due to the sell out.

@JAPete. This means Wizkids sold out their stock. Not that your comicbook store has sold of of everything they ordered. This is a good thing. It means the game is strong and they'll keep producing it. After GSX was "sold out", a local comic store still had 8 cases of it sitting on the floor. If your venue got their order in, they should get you your clix.

Posted by: TopDog on 5/22/2011 6:10:32 PM
Well due to sold out postings I purchased a brick months ago. At that time with shipping it hit 88 bucks. Based on avaiablity this will become standard compared to old releases. GSX was great until avaiability. The standard boosters were so short that we could not even follow the published schedule for prize support.

Wow, I just check Wizkids web page and they said that this set is already sold out!!! WTF! This is going to be the kind of stuff thats going to make it so that people stop playing including myself. How do you sell out of something that does not release for almost two months?! I guess we are all going to have fun trying to find a case under $200 if we can find them at all. Thanks Wizkids for again screwing everyone by not making even close to enough. NECA better be careful or what happened to the comic book market in the mid and late 90s is going to happen to them now. I was really looking forward to this set and just wanted a couple of previews before I preordered but I guess thats not going to happen now.

That SHIELD Agent will not remain a SHIELD Agent for long. He will be modded in Frack Castle! Mwha ha ha!!!

@calvin because the fast forces have the same sculpt not the same dial, so in essence, they are not the same piece whatsoever concerning heroclix games

Posted by: sparkdemon on 5/20/2011 7:39:35 AM
Looks great!!! But I hope it is not based on the movie, and I really hope the next Marvel starter is not going to be about this! I was taking a look to the coming Green Lantern starter based on the movie!!! I couldn't play with a Hal Jordan figure trying to look as much as possible like Ryan Reynolds!! Maaaaan!!! and... why would I purchase the starter if I could buy several "mini-boosters" where I could get more figures that the onces that the starter includes? and I if do? why would I by one of those "mini-boosters" if the most probably thing to happen is that I´m gonna pull out a figure that I already have?...I mean, getting the missing figures in the starter by buying the mini-boosters is going to be kind of difficult, so...I don't want the same thing on this one as well!!!
I would prefer the next Marvel starter to be based in GsX!!! Please Generation-X!!!

Please make a Fantomex.

I am happy to see that they are putting out a Captain America set because we could use some new Hydra minions as well as non Hammer Shield agents but I would like to see them start to get away from having Spiderman, Hulk, and Wolverine in every set. I would really like to see a Shi'ar empire, Age of Apocalypse, or maybe savage land set. Also, please stop having more than one or two at abosolute max chase figures. Nothing is more frustrating than thinking ok cool I got a chase figure only 9 more to go:( Lastly, if someting is sold out, that means people want it and you should maybe make more. Not just say its out and good luck finding a brick under $200.00. Anyone else feel the same way about this stuff?

How about Supreme Soviets or Soviet Super Soldiers?

WE NEED GREAT LAKES AVENGERS

Posted by: Jesus on 3/29/2011 7:32:26 PM
I'm hoping we get the Secret Avengers in this set

Posted by: evan on 3/4/2011 1:41:02 AM
IF this set is due out on June 15th , then when is the Superman set due out ? I thought we were going to get it before the Cap . set !

Posted by: Sentry101 on 3/2/2011 5:59:54 AM
Wow. NOT a fan of 'blind individual' packaging. Especially with the C/U/R/SR distribution (unknown if this is gonna follow with a 10-fig set, but unless they're all relatively equally available...).

Are they doing regular 5-fig boosters (as in the top poster) AND the 'gravity feed' boxes? That'd be fine by me. Hard to see how, though, with just ten figures. Strange, to me. The clix themselves seem cool enough, and I desire some already, but the method of gaining said figs looks a little odd to me.

Green smokey feet Red Skull!

Posted by: Matt Larson on 2/28/2011 10:28:10 PM
These do look great! I may have to reconsider my initial comment. But will probably just pick up singles on ebay. I think Weapon X is fixed on the dial and the "tube housing" will be removable, thus unleashing Weapon X. Great concept! Thanks for posting :-)

Posted by: Ianator on 2/28/2011 6:39:40 PM
This is the one set I can't wait for the most ! I love cap , I still use the smokey feet cap all the time , and this just adds to it ! 30 new clix never seen befor , winter guard , great lakes Avengers , I'm sold !! I just hope their is a new Barron Zemo in this set along with a bunch of his masters of evil !!

Posted by: Sentry 101 on 2/28/2011 4:39:10 PM
i bet the top of the weapon x tank comes off but wolvie doesnt come out.

Posted by: rob on 2/28/2011 2:19:49 PM
The buy it by the brick Nick Fury is the same as the single clix figure one with a repaint and different dial? That sucks! Wizkids have to make a different Heroclix for the bibtb figure like they used to!

Posted by: Tony Antoniuk on 2/28/2011 11:12:04 AM
Great Lakes Avengers? I'm sold

Posted by: Umbra on 2/28/2011 11:09:27 AM
So are we going to be able to take Wolverine out of that tube? Is that what they are saying with the removable parts?

Posted by: wilx on 2/28/2011 10:16:59 AM
Sweet, a full Captain America set in addition to the single fig boosters? Awesome. I'm looking forward to a new Falcon and those Secret Warriors.

Posted by: wilx on 2/28/2011 10:08:59 AM
Again I ask, what about the card?!

Posted by: Lord Logan on 2/22/2011 5:52:11 PM
New SHIELD agents!! It's about time.

Posted by: ScrollMasterRob on 2/18/2011 2:02:33 AM
I can't wait. When does the set come out?

Posted by: Ace40003000 on 2/15/2011 5:04:57 PM
Wow! For the first time, I am not excited for this Heroclix set. I guess it's appropriate for the upcoming movie... But still not excited. There's a first time for everything!

Posted by: Ianator on 2/14/2011 5:42:29 PM
I hope all these are appropriately key worded. I.E Black Widow better have champions and thunderbolts as well as avengers, shield, and spy.

Posted by: wilx on 2/14/2011 3:40:09 PM
Is this going to be Marvels version of the Green Lantern singles that was shown last week where there is only 10 different characters? If so I have no problem with this. Also I'm glad were finally getting Bucky Cap and a new Black Widow. I just hope there dials are good.

Posted by: Nightwing-fan on 2/14/2011 11:39:57 AM
I doubt that this is going to be an Alpha type set, and it doesn't look based on the movie. Bucky-Cap is a long way off in the cinema, and Nick Fury looks to be the 616 variety, not S.L.J. The mini-boosters look kinda odd, though. Probably an extra release to coincide with the movie. Anything with extra SHIELD and HYDRA agents is good. AIM would make it perfect. I need a new MODOK.

Posted by: Dairoka on 2/14/2011 8:00:00 AM
Is this going to be like Captain America Alpha? Or will there be lots of special powers and full compatibility? In this picture, the Cap mini doesn't appear to have the gray 'parachute straps' that Chris Evans has in the movie stills.

Posted by: dittobeetle on 2/13/2011 9:54:53 PM
Dude that's Bucky cap, the Luger the "new" outfit it's him.YAY :D

Posted by: CFCs on 2/13/2011 4:10:37 PM
of course is the bucky cap ..... see the images of first avenger movie....please !!! this booster is going to be based on the comic

I am 90% sure it's not bucky cap. It's movie version cap. He has a gun in the movie. I'd be first to be excited if it was bucky cap, but it isn't.

Posted by: Diesel on 2/13/2011 1:17:12 PM
Any idea on the price of these? I think $2.00 or $2.25 is fair as I buy Heroclix boosters for $11.00 with 5 clix in them.

These do look fantastic though!

Posted by: Tony Antoniuk on 2/13/2011 12:13:29 PM
Can not wait!!!!
