#4 Action Tokens
Action tokens are a necessary component of the game and everyone has to have them. So what makes them one of the top 5 accessories for playing?  Their uniqueness, of course!  Action tokens are the one place where a player can express themselves a bit if they choose. Many players opt for simplicity, using something like the standard glass craft type beads (also sold by companies like Chessex) or coins. But the options available are only limited by the player's imagination.

I use acrylic tokens made by Litko Game Accessories with my user ID etched into them. I have two colors and styles so that I can alternate each turn.

I've seen people use little skulls, monopoly houses and hotels, poker chips, beer bottle caps, decorated glass beads, and a number of other items. The possibilities are endless... go wild!
