The Le: What tools do you use now for modding?
Goldeeh: Saliva, ear wax, hair oil, face oil, and sweat. Just kidding (although I heard some artists DO use bodily excretions when they sculpt. Ewww.).
For my sculpting medium, I use greenstuff/kneadatite. I also tried “brownstuff” (even though I was talking about bodily excretions earlier, it’s not what you’re thinking of), but didn’t really like it. “Greystuff” I have yet to try.
To sculpt, I use a ceramic sculpting tool that I’ve had since I started this hobby. A couple of months ago, I bought a rubber-tipped sculpting tool (that makes smoothing surfaces so much easier). For finer details, I use a hobby knife. I actually also purchased a couple of dental tools. In case anyone's interested, the dental tools are for sale because I have no idea how to use them for sculpting (hehe).
For paint, I use Citadel paints. I use 18/0 Loew-Cornell 7000 Round for brushes.
Other tools I use are sandpaper, wire cutters, 22 gauge wire, and a Citadel hobby drill.
You can see many more custom images at Goldeeh's website. That's also the best place to contact him for commissions. Please consider leaving comments below.
