Iron Maiden Clix Spoilers
07/22/2010

This falls directly under the What The...?!? in our books, but Matthew J. reports that IRON MAIDEN HeroClix was on display at the San Diego Comic Con.

No, Really.

This image comes directly from the fine folks at Toy News International, and we're inclined to believe it. More news as we find out more!

(Personally, we're a little confused by it, but certainly can never get enough of Eddie!)

Iron Maiden HeroClix

Your Comments:
Maybe this would have been better placed under the Horrorclix licence, i know i'd really love an EDDIE leading my Zombie horde

Posted by: Ste on 8/5/2010 7:42:37 PM
I can't wait, and many of my non-heroclix playing co-workers are interested as well.

Posted by: Blue_Shield on 7/28/2010 11:56:16 AM
give me stranger in a strange land with the laser gun and bionic eye!

Posted by: slade wilson on 7/28/2010 10:24:45 AM
hell yea ill buy these i hope for a seventh son of a seventh son click

Posted by: bonez on 7/27/2010 5:27:32 PM
I imagine that the display box may give a clue as to what figures are in the set... But that is just a hopeful guess on my behalf.

Posted by: Static on 7/26/2010 8:53:32 PM
just perfect for the blackest night secnerio

Posted by: jack on 7/26/2010 1:13:58 PM
I want a Trooper Eddie figure, Imma slap Captain Britain Corps on him as a keyword.

Posted by: Vegas Rudeboy on 7/25/2010 2:16:36 AM
I imagine none of the band will have figures, just Eddie. My dream line up would be Electric Chair Eddie, Patriot Eddie, Skate boarding Eddie (from Tony Hawk pro skater 4), Ghost Eddie, Robot Eddie, Reaper Eddie, and Ed Hunter (from the game based on Eddie)

Posted by: Robert on 7/24/2010 3:29:17 PM
Theyd probably make REALLY BIG bands. Can you say james hetfield? cosmic power??? not a bad idea makin Metallica!!!!

Posted by: fernie on 7/24/2010 1:42:40 AM
They should have the keywords "celebrity" and "past."

Posted by: Wombatboy on 7/23/2010 8:26:20 AM
So HeroClix is cloning the Music Industry? Different!
Looking forward to getting Twisted Sister & AC/DC.
Can't wait to see Britney Spears figure.
I thought the HeroClix Gremlin's game was a strange move. This beats that!

Posted by: Lordcassidyg on 7/23/2010 3:09:37 AM
hmmmm deadites.....you could use em for that. Just wondering if there will be a group special ability :)

Posted by: scourge101 on 7/22/2010 7:25:24 PM
OMG I have to have all 8. I was out of heroclix for a few years, got back in with HOT and am hooked. BATB, Watchmen, Web of Spidey, Blackest/Brightest night now this. I am HOOKED!!!!!!

Posted by: MaidenCanada on 7/22/2010 7:08:09 PM
I would definitely pick up a set. I know a few Iron Maiden fans who would go crazy for this.

Posted by: Vegas Rudeboy on 7/22/2010 6:26:11 PM
Good call wintremute... the fact that it's only 8 figures makes me very interested.

Posted by: The Le on 7/22/2010 5:00:40 PM
Uh can we say Disturbed! He would so have Power Cosmic as seen in the music video "Land of Confusion"

Posted by: Lord Logan on 7/22/2010 4:32:09 PM
I wonder if this falls into the category of separate collectible game, like the "Forest Of Fear" game, that has nothing to do with HeroClix but has that name on the package because it's well known... did anyone at SDCC actually see what the "game" part of it is?

Posted by: WolvieFan9 on 7/22/2010 1:40:07 PM
Im not a fan of iron maiden to be honest but i will buy a few because if what i heard about "rock clix" has any remote truth in it, than this set i feel is more of a test run to see if its worth making other bands. I would love to see a bunch of rock stars made into clix, kiss, queen and ac/dc. I also think it would be awesome if they made elvis hahaha i would so buy it, but that may be pushing it

Posted by: mike on 7/22/2010 12:53:49 PM
This is one of the coolest things I've seen in years. There's only 8, so it's not going to be bloated, nor get in the way of a traditional clix release. UP THE IRONS!

Posted by: wintremute on 7/22/2010 12:33:35 PM
I heard a rumor four years ago, that Gene Simmons had talked to someone at WizKids during GenCon 2006 about Kiss making something called "RockClix" to tie into HorrorClix. There was some belief that it could happen as ToonClix had been announced at that time, too. Now, I'm excited. :-)

Yea! i saw this yesterday at the booth when i was getting my Dr. Manhattan! I hope they turn out cool. The figures from web of shadows look amazing, i hope you post pictures soon.

Posted by: hardbread on 7/22/2010 11:28:24 AM
Iron Maiden? Thats ok, but I want Blue Oyster Cult's Cultosaurus Erectus. Reaper and GODZILLA...go go Godzilla!

Posted by: Johnwhite-toledo on 7/22/2010 10:37:34 AM
Um, no.

Posted by: Jason on 7/22/2010 9:59:48 AM
Huh, I'll take the Eddie the Trooper.

Posted by: Kallie on 7/22/2010 9:53:31 AM
Now fix the "AVP" & "Freddy vs Jason" and we got a game!!! (=

Posted by: Ceasam on 7/22/2010 9:47:39 AM
Looks like NECA is bringing some much needed death and destruction to the tabletop!! 'Clix 'til your ears bleed!!!
