The Orc Archer is a strange one. Running Shot, Enhancement, and Willpower are all nice, but that special power is just kinda weird.

I like this sculpt of Sauraman pity the Palantir isn't a special object of course the Orb of Ultimate Knowledge would be a good stand in for it.

I love the archer's special power. It perfectly represents volley fire, arcing a cloud of "sky blackening" arrows over all before them. Admittedly it should ignore characters and outdoor blocking too and require being adjacent to about 20 other archers but for a 300 point game of clix this is as good as it gets.

Shame I'm such a GW fan when it comes to LOTR and won't be investing in this set. It's not GWs most popular game but is great when played by experts who use the full rules (and the rules to their full) much like clix.

@Zummor: Firstly, no need to explain English English to me, I am a Brit :)
The GW interpreted the attack as a magic arrow. They made it a spell as they thought giving Nazgul bow was a bit out of character.
The GW LotR game is still going, I know quite a few folks who play it. It lost a lot of players in the US after the films were all finished, but it's certainly picked up over here again since the Hobbit came out. I'm not too keen on it myself, but it still has quite a few fans.

@lizardvoice Is it possible that "darts" refers to some alternate meaning like arrow in england's english. (you know like how they call a flashlight a torch) And the sentence is referring to that? Also wasn't the LotR series by gamesworkshop kinda a flop?

@zumorr: There was some mention (a sentence or two) of them using "black darts" against the riders of Rohan in the book, but it was unclear if these were actual darts or some form of spell. I only remember it because it got referenced in one of gamesworkshop's LotR rule-books.
