#1 Superman (TabApp 001)

Once you make the proper modifications to his sculpt, it’s easy to see why this Superman takes the #1 spot. He has all the powers and abilities one would desire for a Superman and big blue starts out with an effective range of 13. With his team Superman team ability he will almost certainly make the alpha strike.

Being 50 points cheaper than SM001 Superman awards tab-app Supes just enough points to get some support in place to make him more effective and possibly qualify for the theme team bonus.

A 19 starting defense can be boosted by hindering terrain or a teammates Perplex, making him a very hard target to hit. His special power not only grants a full dial of Super Strength, it also gives him the ability to cause a clix of penetrating damage after damage has been resolved (and don't forget the clicks of Exploit Weakness).

His defense values never drops below 17 with mostly Impervious and Invulnerability, and late dial spikes back up to a 19 defense with Regeneration to put him back in the game.  

As for his sculpt, I highly recommend using the Streets of Gotham Superman sculpt as you will probably never play him with these other options to choose from.
